Hi Happy,

The Short Description box is added for 1.0.3 and will be live when it is released in about 12 hours ish.

For the main product description box, I went to dev.wcvendors.com/my-account logged in as vendor1 password vendor1 — Clicked the Pro Dashboard, edited a product, and edited the products description. Worked just fine here?

Have you overwritten the templates at all?
