Ahh ok I do see this in my testing.
It does not happen in WC Vendors Pro, since the front-end forms direct the vendor differently after they have added a product. It does, however, occur with WC Vendors Free since you are using the WooCommerce wp-admin form to add the product, and it keeps you on that same page, as you have noted above.
I will submit this issue and let you know if/when we have a fix for this.
