Will it fix the vendor store problem with distorted background image with templates… Can I get a custom job were vendor must mandatory select a category before creating a product… Last but not least how can I stop regular customers applying to be a vendor because they have the option to request to be one my account page … The only way to become a vendor is paying for a membership
1.) I don’t know, you are asking me something you didnt give me details about in this topic.
2.) Required fields on the product form at your discretion are part of v1.2.0.
3.) Stop customers from applying? WC Vendors > General and uncheck the allow users to become a vendor box.
It stretches the background image vertical and it distorted … It don’t look like WC VENDOR demo store … I think I recall Jamie said 1.2o should fix that
I uncheck that box and I still have that problem… When a customer click on vendor dashboard they can still register to be a vendor
That “Anytime Fitness” image is HUGE. If you upload a 10Mb image, that’s what it’ll show. Don’t upload images bigger than your desktop resolution. 😉 Suggest you crop it in the media library editor, or fix locally and re-upload. Now of course, this doesnt help fix the problem automatically. In a future release we’ll add an image cropper that will force the correct dimensions, which would be set by the admin of the site that way they can make them as big, or as small, as they desire.
If you wanted to disable the vendor registration on the Dashboard page, simply edit out all the application template. (/templates/front/vendor-signup-form.php)
Interesting! The attachment, unfortunately, is the opposite of too big, it’s simply way too small. Upload a banner that is wide and short, not tall and skinny. That would prevent any stretching. If you still prefer sizes like that, tweak the CSS so that it isnt filling the width.
hey ben is their anyway i just pay you guys to fix my store page because i tried countless codes to fix the distortion of the banner image plus the alignment of the boxes not even showing up in the shipping and add product tab…. i truly need this fix asap
same thing with 800 x 200… plus the Edit image is not working right when clicking on it goes back to the vendor dashboard
Ok, then it’s your theme. v1.2.0 should fix it no problem. Give us a few days to finish it up. Cant rush perfection. 😉
