I am working on building a marketplace using WC Vendors.
    So far, all is well.

    I do have a question:
I’d like to add the ability for my vendors to to print shipping labels for their orders directly on my site using an add on or plugin ( i.e. OrderCup link ).
Is this something that can be done at this point with Wc Vendors? I’m not sure how to ensure that the shipping label function would properly appear for the individual vendors and their coordinating orders.

Please let me know if this is a function that I can somehow implement, as it would be greatly beneficial to my vendors. I will NOT be using Paypal, I’ll be using Stripe as the primary and perhaps Amazon Payments as well, so the vendors will not have the ability to easily print labels for their sales unless I add that function.

Thank you for your time and any help you can offer.

I’ve looked at OrderCup. I can say for certain, that unless OrderCup allows you to create additional logins for that site, and tightly integrates it with the Vendor role, OrderCup will not be an option.

What is an option, and already supported, and works quite well, is WooThemes Shipment Notification plugin. Vendors can select the shipper and enter the tracking number for each package on their Vendor Dashboard.

I’m not sure of a way that would actually be possible for vendors to create shipping labels from your account, that would be a unique plugin all by itself. I do not know of any plugins or code that would allow this to happen unless you wrote it yourself. 🙁

Thank you so much for your reply.
I will certainly check out the Woo Shipment notification plugin, as that would at least offer some options and functions…. just not the actual printing of the labels.
I thought that the label printing would be rather complicated and likely require such modifications that I’d end up having to build it (or have it made).
As a former vendor on a marketplace, it was fantastic to have the ability to print labels right from your shop admin… so I was hoping to be able to provide this function. I will need to put that on the back burner and work on it or hire someone to do it in the future, I think.

Thanks again for your help. 🙂

As a side note I thought I would let you know that Pro will have a ‘print shipping label’ button and a relevant template that will be customisable by the store admin. It will be next to ‘mark as shipped’ in the front end pro dashboard orders screen.

I am planning to use this one in my business future invoicing as I looks this one very much helpful for my company, however I am looking for a trial of this how it will simplify my works. Right now I am getting a standard print copy of invoicing from http://www.digitekprinting.com/, manual but effective to use.

Oh, hey- one of my zombie threads. 😉
Wilson, did you have a question? Or are you just letting us know that you are going to try this service?
