    I’m honestly not sure if this is a WCVendors or WooCommerce question. I just purchased WCVendors Pro today for use with a catalog-only multivendor marketplace using Buddy Boss OneSocial theme and YITH catalog-mode plugin. I want to know if it is possible/how to insert a form into the Seller Info section of settings on the Vendor Dashboard in order to collect specific, standardized information on how to buy a vendor’s product outside of my marketplace and display that info for customers.

    OneSocial displays Seller info in a tab on the marketplace, and WCVendors Pro allows me to relabel the Seller Info tab with How to Buy, but I am missing the piece on how to get the specific information from vendors. I don’t want them to have to apply to become vendors and have disabled the manual approval of vendors. Attached screenshot shows the area I would like to customize. I’ve looked at the knowledge base and the article for changing templates, but am not sure how to proceed.

    My site isn’t live–I am working on my http://www.wcvendors.com. The URL directs to a GoDaddy site.

    Thanks!

    Hello Anna,

    @infofeastos-com

    So, you’d like to add an additional field to the vendor’s store settings page for then to fill in?
    And then have that info displayed on the website for customers to view? If so, where do you want the info to display for the customers to see? (i.e. product page?)

    Hey Anna!

    Thanks for your response. Yes, I want the how-to-buy info to display on the Product page (we are a catalog only site now, so won’t be selling, but want to direct customers to the vendor’s preferred selling method). I was not intending to create an additional field, although I suppose that would also work if it’s something I am able to implement with my limited coding skills. What I was hoping to do is to offer vendors a form or subfields in the submission area of the Seller Info field of the Store Settings so that I can standardize the information within Seller Info.

    The reason I narrowed in on Seller Info as the field is that WC Vendors Pro offers me the ability to change the display label for that field. Please see screen shots for what I mean about where it displays and an example of the kind of info I want to collect and display from our current GoDaddy site here: http://www.feastos.com/htb—en—chubby-chicks.html
