    Hey guys,

    Last thing to sort before I’m all set up (until bookings update is out)!

    On the vendor ‘add product’ page my custom taxonomy (created using Simple Taxonomy Plugin) for location is showing as a drop down list to choose from. I require Vendors to be able to type a new location as they can in the category field above (see screenshot below for clarification).

    Custom Tax

    Is this something to do with User Role Editor Capabilities (of which I’ve tried many combos, all not working) or something to do with the below code from the dashboard/product-edit template?

    <!– Product Tags –>
    <?php WCVendors_Pro_Product_Form::tags( $object_id ); ?>
    <!– Product Attributes (if any) –>
    <?php WCVendors_Pro_Form_helper::attribute( $object_id ); ?>
    </div>

    Would really appreciate getting the last bit of setup sorted!

    Thanks,

    Will

    Those will be fully supported in v1.2.0 and customizing the forms/dropdowns will be all supported in that with the variable/attributes update.

    Great. December 1st is looking to be more exciting the 25th with that and Bookings!!!

    December 1st might not be a good timeframe now. WooThemes is changing how they handle variations again with WooCommerce 2.5. They expect 2.5 to go public in January. We’ll be developing the variations/attributes with 2.5 betas that way when 2.5 goes live, 1.2.0 can go live at the same time.

    “If all goes to plan, Release Candidate 1 will be tagged sometime between Jan 4thโ€“8th 2016, with the final release dropping a week later.”

    WooThemes is pretty good about hitting release dates on time.

    We refrain from setting release dates since unlike WooThemes, we’re *never* good on setting them. It’ll be done when it’s done, we hope to remain on target. ๐Ÿ™‚
