    Hi,

I am checking out on the WC Vendors plugin. It has good features and infact seriously contemplating to move from Woocommerce product vendors to WC Vendors. WC Vendors seem to have some cool features.

I see that site administrator is default considered as one of the vendors. Can this be avoided? I am using this plugin for the specific purpose where only approved vendors need to be treated as “vendors”. The products added by site administrator should NOT be tagged as vendor products

    Thanks

Site Administrators are not considered vendors. They have no vendor permissions, and no roles as a vendor. 🙂

If your site name is “Store.com” and an administrator owns a product, it will say “Sold by: Store.com”.

So basically, you’re all set! 🙂

    Hi,

In the example above, is there a way NOT to show “Sold by: Store.com”?

    Thanks.

No, there is not. You could always create filters (see KB article) to remove/change the “Sold by:” text, though, or, alternatively, create a vendor account specifically for the site admin to list products on.
