Hi there, this isn’t WCVendors related I’m sorry. But I’m hoping someone here can help.
My vendors are constantly adding products to incorrect categories, making it a very bad experience for customers seeing tonnes of unrelevant products in the category they are viewing.
I know how to bulk ADD to other categories, but to delete from product categories I’m having to go into each product individually to unselect the category that the product shouldn’t be in. With over 4000 products on the site this is so long winded.
I’ve been looking for a category wizard plug in but no joy.

I have found this plug in but seems a bit heavy for the one bit of functionality I need it for:
YITH WOOCOMMERCE BULK PRODUCT EDITINGwp-admin > products > quick edit update > quick edit update > quick edit update > quick edit update
Or, slim down on categories. If a category has less than 50-100 items in it, it needs no category!
Thanks Ben, obviously I use the Quick Edit rather than actually opening up every product. But I still have to do this individually for every product as the bulk edit only lets you ADD new categories to the products, not DELETE categories. It’s such a pain 🙁
No kidding! That’s a bit of a limitation, yes. I’d submit that to WooCommerce as a bug. “Bulk Edit does not allow you to delete categories” and let them fix it. 2.7 comes out on 3/14, so why not?
I’ll do that. In the meantime I think I’ll need to download that plug in as I’m drowning trying to fix all the mistakes! Eeeep!
I’ve raised it with Woocommerce, or rather added to the other people who are also asking for the delete feature!
I’ve found this plug in that thankfully will save me tonnes of time 🙂
