    Hi Ben,

I have a new problem I didn’t use to have before installing the pro version.

When a person registers from /my-account page and checks the apply to be a vendor button, everything seems fine, user gets an email saying they are pending etc. However, when I go into the admin area to approve them, there are no pending vendors. After looking further, they have been put into the customer role.
They are only given the pending vendor role when they fill in the registration information a click to subscribe to vendor on another page.
Another problem is that when I change their role and turn them into a Vendor, no email is sent to inform them.
I have just updated WC Vendors and WC Vendors Pro but the problem has not been solved.

    Thanks in advance

    Raquel

    Hi Raquel,

This means the vendor clicked the apply button, but never filled out the application from on /dashboard/ later. It works this way so that when an idiot checks the apply to become a vendor button not knowing what it does, you dont have a ton of pending vendors. Only after they submit their full application on the following page does it change them to a pending vendor or a vendor depending on your approval settings.

Ok. So that’s the way it should be.
However, when I approve the application and turn him into a vendor, the email is not sent to him. Why is this?
    Thanks
    Raquel

If you go to wp-admin > users > pending vendors > hover your mouse over his line, and click “Approve” it will send them the approval email.

If you manually change his role to vendor, it will not.
