NOTICE: We've Moved to a Ticket System for Support

As of August 31, 2017 (12am EST) our support forums will be retired (read-only), and we will be moving to a support ticket system.  This will allow us to better organize and answer support requests, and provide a more personalized experience as we assist our customers.

For the time being, we will leave our forums open for reading and learning while we work on creating a more robust Knowledge Base for everyone to use.

    Hello, i’m planning a marketplace but with several requirement, i wonder if WCVendors suit my needs:
    1. Every item upload by vendor must be approved by admin before it publish (moderate). This to ensure it shows the best picture standard

    2. we can hide the seller info for new approved vendor (theming)

    3. each seller has its own shipping pricing

    any issue for this with WCVendors

    Hello Viktor,
    1. Yes- absolutely. We have a setting in which you can choose to require approval before the products are published. They are pending until approved, and not live on the site until you approve them.

    2. You can have vendors apply and be given the role of Pending Vendor until you approve them and allow them the Vendor role. they cannot open their shopfront or list products until you have approved them/they have the Vendor role.

    3. This is available in WC Vendors Pro, but not WC Vendors free. We have the Vendor Shipping module built into WC Vendors Pro, and vendors can choose their own shipping rates.

    can we made customization with shipping module ? do you have hooks documentation ? i need to connect with local shipping provider’s API for the integration

    To customize the shipping module will be a lot of work, but not impossible, of course.
