Hi Ben,
I have bloggers on ConsciousCrafties.com and many are Vendors. I have set them up with a separate account to their Vendor account to do this. Ideally it would be amazing if Vendors could blog using their vendor account, but I’m guessing I may be one of few shops who want their vendors blogging on their store (?)
I recently had the ‘Only administrators can access the /wp-admin/ dashboard’ box ticked:
…but this meant my blogger accounts (User Type Authors) were unable to access their blogging accounts and instead were sent to a shop page!
Is it possible to change this tick box functionality so it only prevents Vendors from accessing wp-admin?

I did the same thing with a plugin called user role editor, it lets you as author capabilities to the vendors so they dont need to have 2 accounts. Thought this might be helpful for you
