It may sound confusing, but I would like my website’s vendors to have a private community on their shops. Only members are able to buy and see the group content. Non-members can only see the products (not able to buy), “about” information and “shop reviews” section.

The easier solution I can think of is to automatically create a BuddyPress group for each vendor and integrate it with the shop. So this way, vendors can have activity, forums, docs/blog, members, etc. Obviously shop vendors should be the group’s admins.

    Hello,
I would imagine this can be done.
I know you can allow members of your site to create groups with BuddyPress. I do not recall what the restrictions settings are.. if you can block certain user roles from creating groups or not… if not, then there is likely a plugin that can help with that.
What I do not know is how you would automatically create a group for each vendor. Perhaps you could just encourage vendors to go create their group, and then invite members to the group.
There is this plugin that looks as if it may help you: https://woocommerce.com/products/product-support/?_ga=1.258863113.263261337.1479492377
