NOTICE: We've Moved to a Ticket System for Support

As of August 31, 2017 (12am EST) our support forums will be retired (read-only), and we will be moving to a support ticket system.  This will allow us to better organize and answer support requests, and provide a more personalized experience as we assist our customers.

    Im sure you guys are determined to keep the WC vendor release under wraps but as more and more people migrate to WC Vendors in anticipation for Pro can you start releasing more info about it and it’s roadmap so that we have realistic expectations of what it can and cannot do, one thing that I would appreciate are the various meta keys that you will use so that our temporary hacks for the vendor settings for example are forward compatible. Also please, if you can’t tell us exactly what WC Vendors will do please tell us what it can’t do.

    to get you started I’ll ask the following questions with numbers and tell us if it is expected or not and if it will be integrated in Ver 1.0.

    THE BIGONE: Future metakeys that will be implemented in pro, then….

    1) Follow/Unfollow Vendors
    2) Follower activity stream
    3) Frontend vendor coupons (Dokan Feature)
    4) Frontend reviews (Dokan Feature)
    5) Manual funds request with account balance (Dokan Feature)
    6) Vendor store categories (Dokan Feature)
    7) Vendor store search
    8) Reviews and ratings of vendors (Dokan Feature)
    9) Buddypress sync
    10) Pay to list products (Dokan Feature)
    11) Vendors can export CSVs of orders and inventory from frontend dashboard (Dokan Feature)
    12) Frontend Upload
    14) Any notable future integrations with any notable plugins
    15) Detailed infographics and advanced reporting for vendors

    8.) Yes
    9.) No, existing plugins already offer this functionality for free @ wordpress.org
    10.) No, but eventually, yes.
    11.) Maybe
    12.) Yes

    Curious about how shipment tracking will work, or if there is any change to it.

    Shipment Tracking is already supported with WC Vendors Free, we have no plans to ever remove support for that at all. 🙂 It’s pretty easy, just click Add Tracking and enter the number and the shipper from the dropdown. And then it emails the buyer to tell them the tracking number and that its shipped. Simple stuff!
