    Hello, I have an issue that I am hoping someone can help me with. I have the latest version of Woocommerce, WC Vendors Pro 1.3.7, and the One Social marketplace theme with Paypal Adaptive payments. When a buyer makes a purchase, the order shows up as Cancelled order on my admin dashboard, with the note added that the order status was changed from Pending Payment to Cancelled because a time limit for the transaction to go through was reached.
    The payment goes through to the vendor and everything seems okay except that no new order email is sent out to the vendor and they can’t see the order on their vendor dashboard because it is a Cancelled order.
    I check with them and then manually change order status to new/processing order.

    A couple of months ago, I remember changing a setting which had to do with the amount of time items could remain in cart. I can’t remember where I did that (lesson learnt: never mess with anything that’s working!) or even if it has something to do with the current problem but I didn’t have the problem before then.
    I would greatly appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction!

    I had a similar problem for over a year of searching for the issue and the solution.

    My solution was actually switching to this WC Vendors plugin! My old multi-vendor plugin was the issue. It was the old Matt Gates version of this plugin that was causing the issue.

    On my hunt for the solution there are other variable to check and I would suggest a google search “woocommerce paypal order status changing from pending to cancelled” and see what you find.

    I completed some exercises through PayPal as well (I just can nor remember what they were) but all my info I found through various forums.

    Sorry not much help on the solution but I’m thinking it is a paypal/woocommerce communication thing.

    Hello,
    I am thinking you will need to discuss this one with PayPal, and find out what they are seeing on their end.
    The setting you are referring to for the time limit is this one:
    wp admin > woocommerce > settings > products > inventory > Hold Stock (minutes)

    See if that solves the issue; if not, get in touch with paypal so they can look up the account and see the data.

    Hi Anna, thank you, I changed the time limit but was wondering if there is an ideal time that you would suggest, or should I leave it blank? Thanks again!

    I’d leave it blank- yes. See if it works.
    Then if you need to set a time limit- try seeing if you can without this issue happening.

    Hello,

    I got woocommerce Version 3.0.5 and when someome pass an order, the payment pass on the paypal account of my client but the order status remains in pending payment. I have done a test with my Paypal account and the order status changes automatically when the payment pass to my account. So is it a problem with Paypal?
