NOTICE: We've Moved to a Ticket System for Support

As of August 31, 2017 (12am EST) our support forums will be retired (read-only), and we will be moving to a support ticket system.  This will allow us to better organize and answer support requests, and provide a more personalized experience as we assist our customers.

    We keep getting customers leaving 1 star ratings but with very positive comments. When one of the vendors questioned a customer, they replied that they had thought they selected the highest rating.

    The problem I think is because normally in other sites the ratings stars are ordered with the 1 star (worst) being on the left and the 5 star (best) being on the right. So people are used to clicking the rightmost option for the best review. Whereas with this they are reversed.

    I’d have thought it was still very obvious what 1 star and 5 star is, but judging by our reviews, it’s clearly not obvious for everyone. It also displays different when using a laptop/desktop with a larger screen compared to a phone/tablet with a smaller screen (especially if you flip your phone onto its side to view the page). So I can understand how it might be possible for people to be confused.

    I’ve added a note to the feedback page to help, but is there a way to change the stars into words “Poor, fair, good, great, excellent” (just on the page customers leave the feedback, not elsewhere where it displays the stars) and/or change the order to make it easier for customers to understand?

    Hi- I am not ignoring your request; however, I have not found exactly how to change this yet- trust, me, it isn’t straight forward. I’ve located the code, but haven’t worked out how to change it.
    I’ll be able to take a look at this again when we get through releasing v1.4 and the storm of work that will follow that. 😉
