    Hi!

We are using WC Vendors Pro. When you are a client, you can ask for becoming a Vendor. When you do it, the next page you are going to see it is the my account page. We don’t want to see that page.

How can we change it for seeing a different page?

    Thanks for your help.

    Best regards.

    Hello,
Check the settings of this plugin you have installed: Anura Digital – Redireccionar los Usuarios según el rol: por Anura Digital – 1.1

I do not want to give you any kind of re-direct unless you’ve worked with what is already set in this plugin, or it could cause an error on your site.
Do you have your users register on the my-account page?
After registration, are you having them redirected to the my-account page using that plugin?

    Hi!

We were working with that plugin, but we are not going to use it anymore.

We are using “Woo Login Redirect” to redirect user after login.

The point is when a user wants to become a Vendor (in our case it is called Coach), then redirect to other page which it is not “my account” page.

    Answering your questions:
    * Do you have your users register on the my-account page? Yes, in this page: http://trainingesports.com/mi-cuenta/

    * After registration, are you having them redirected to the my-account page using that plugin? No using that plugin, which is already deleted, we are using “Woo Login Redirect” plugin.

    Thanks.

    Other question:

When a user asks for becoming a Vendor, Where can you change the role? Only in the user profile?

Is it possible to send an email to the pending vendor when he/she becames a Vendor?

    Thanks.

    @anuradigital
If you are redirecting users after they register, it will also redirect the prospective vendors after they register.

When admin approves a pending vendor- one method of approval will send an email, the other will not send an email notification:

1.) Email: wp-admin > users > pending vendors > hover over vendor and click Approve. Email fires.

2.) No email: wp-admin > users > edit user > change role to vendor, update. No email.

    Hi!

We don’t want a vendor can’t register in my-account page. They have to start being users, at the begining, and then they can ask for becoming vendors. In this way the future vendor doesn’t recieve an email when he/she becomes a vendor.

When they ask for becoming vendors in the dashboard, after that step they are going to see my-account page. We want they go to other page.

Additionaly, when we are uploading the images for the store and we select them to be in the store, the images don’t show in the store. We are talking about banner and logo in the branding tap.

What can we do to fix it?

I hope you can help me.

    Thanks!

    Hello,
TO allow users who are already registered on your site to become vendors, you can direct them to the URL of your Pro Dashboard page, and they will see the vendor application.
TO redirect vendors to the Pro Dashboard instead of the my-account page, you can use this code in your theme/child theme functions.php file:
    https://gist.github.com/fervous/504b2c9c760c54cf6d5ea414b802d444

For the branding image issue– Is it just the branding tab page (front-end) that you are experiencing this, or can you upload images elsewhere? (product form, etc.)
If you switch to the Storefront theme, does this still occur? https://wordpress.org/themes/storefront/
If you deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce, WC Vendors and WC Vendors Pro, does this still occur?

@fervous I copied code you provided to theme functions page but get the error:
    syntax error, unexpected ‘}’

Is there something missing from the code you posted?

    Thanks.

    @anuradigital
Please run through our email debugging steps. Postman SMTP plugin can be especially helpful, since it will show you in the log if the emails are, indeed, being dispatched.

    Hi!

I’ve tried to redirect clients to dashboard page when they ask for becoming vendors like you told me.

Now I think why it is not working… I’ve tried to do it if you ask for becoming a vendor from the registration form. Then you are going to a page to fill it and at the bottom you can ask for becoming a vendor. It works in this way.

The problem is that is an automatic way to approve vendors. I want to approve vendors manually. In that way I don’t let to ask for becoming a vendor in the registration form, only when you sign in.

    Can you understand me?

    How can we fix it?

    Thanks!

    Hi!

We have updated the plugin and now admin doesn’t receive an email when an user asks for becoming a vendor.

We have desactivated WC Vendors Pro and then admin receives that email.

What can we do? We want to use WC Vendors Pro and admin must receive that email (requests of a pending vendor).

    Thanks!
