NOTICE: We've Moved to a Ticket System for Support

As of August 31, 2017 (12am EST) our support forums will be retired (read-only), and we will be moving to a support ticket system.  This will allow us to better organize and answer support requests, and provide a more personalized experience as we assist our customers.

For the time being, we will leave our forums open for reading and learning while we work on creating a more robust Knowledge Base for everyone to use.

    Hello Anna,

    a lot of month this project was parked; stood still.
    Now we start again with that.

    Now something is wrong: Product changes are not saved.
    A moment later they get lost!

    Please Help!!

    I do see two things:

    Pro Dashboard Page: ✕ -Your pro dashboard page cannot be set to your free dashboard page.

    Your Pro Dashboard and free dashboard both need to be set; both independent parent pages.

    WC Vendors Pro: von WC Vendors – 1.3.6

    Please update to WC Vendors Pro v1.4.3. The version you are running is very outdated and will not be compatible with the current version of WooCommerce that you are using.
    If you are not seeing an update notice in wp-admin.. you can manually update Pro.
    TO manually update Pro:
    1. back up your site (optional safe measure)
    2. download the latest Pro version from your account here: https://www.wcvendors.com/my-account/downloads/
    3. deactivate & then delete your current WC Vendors Pro (info/settings are stored in your database….)
    5. Immediately upload the new Pro version zip you downloaded from my-account.
    6. Activate Pro

    I have done that.

    But now alot links are broken (ex. product preview) and some information are disappeared (ex shipping costs per product).

    Ok- I set your WC Vendors pages correctly now. The free dahsbaord must be set on its own page with its own shortcode. And the Shop Settings & Orders pages for WC Vendors need to be child pages of the WC Vendors free dashbaord.
    I set those properly now. I also saved your permalinks after making these changes.

    As for shipping- with the new WooCommerce, you need to chose whether to use WooCommerce shipping or our Vendor Shipping.
    the only shipping method that will work properly with Commissions calculations and be passed to the vendors and properly allocated at checkout (and also allow for them to create their own rates) is Vendor Shipping.

    I took a look at the products and added one to the cart- shipping was showing properly. That was after I adjusted the pages, so perhaps there was an issue there.

    Do some testing & let me know if the page issues are resolved.

    Another thing:
    At the moment, the shop owner get no provision. The shop owner “Landshop-Verkaufs-User”. Please help again!

    And q question: Vedors are only need a paypal-account, but not es stripe account?

    One Question more to wc vendors:
    Maybe its not correct translated from english in german?

    The commission in percent – is that the money what the vendor get
    or is that die money what the store operator get?

    Hi Anna,

    at the moment we have a new problem in the shipping calculation and local pickup.
    Yesterday it works fine!

    If the buyer-adress and vendor-adress are the same and i put in the postalcode,
    the shipping zone is not calculated correctly.

    It use the standard shipping price. Thats not good.

    please help again!

    Its not working after your changes.

    woocommerce need this plugin “Packages Configuration for WooCommerce”
    Maybe that is the problem in relation to this changes an wc vendor shipping?

    There were changes within WooCommerce when they updated to v3.0++ that now prevents the paid selections of WooCommerce shipping being used with our Vendor Shipping.
    Vendor Shipping is the only method that will correctly calculate with commissions and vendor orders, and vendor settings.
    The free shipping WooCommerce selection can still be used in tandem with Vendor Shipping.

    “Packages Configuration for WooCommerce” That plugins is very old and the author has not updated it for use with WooCommerce 3.0+

    The amount you enter in the fields on wp amdin > woocommerce > wc vendors > commission.. that is the amount the VENDOR will receive. SO if you enter 80.. the vendor will receive 80% of the sale.

    I am sorry I do not understand this question. Are you using PayPal or Stripe? Or both?

    Hello Anna,

    shipping calulation: i disabled “Packages Configuration for WooCommerce” But it doesn´t work farther. Freeshipping have a price… The postalcode-calculation doesnt work!

    Amount: Yes, i understood it so before. i asked it, because: in germany you would define the process differently. You would pay the agent / operator a commission.

    Paypal / stripe: maybe you remember to 2016 to our paypal problem? In europe paypal does not allow these type of payment method if you make less than 75,000 euros in sales. That is the reason why we have to use stripe. But it´s generally little known.

    Answer short: we are using both. But´s not what we like. If you see a way that we can use ONLY paypal – that would be nice!!!

    Ok, the problem with postalcode-calculation i could solve.

    I have deleted the woocommerce standard-shipping. Now, only the vendor can dertimine alone the shipping costs. in woocommerce is only “Germany” and “pickup”.

    Is this way correctly?
