    Hello,

I bought the Pro version and installed it together with the theme social marketplace. Everything is working fine.
Now I want to change the vendor templates. I followed the steps by https://www.wcvendors.com/kb/changing-vendor-templates/
and I could manage to change the template /dashboard/dashboard.php easily.

BUT its not working for the template product-edit or store-settings.php and I have no clue why this is not working πŸ˜‰

Can someone give me a hint?

    Thanks!

    Yes, I can.
BuddyBoss adds an extra folder when filing the theme edits. This has thrown off most users when trying to edit the templates.
In your onesocial-child, please add this folder: bb-marketplace
Then create the wc-vendors folder within the bb-marketplace folder.

    Your path: themes/onesocial-child/bb-marketplace/wc-vendors/dashboard/product-edit.php or store-settings.php

    Thanks a lot!

I try to translate WC Vendors into German. Can this also be the problem that a few parts within the dashboard are not translated correctly?
Does BuddyBoss has here also a easy solution?

    Well, I don’t know how you’re translating..
If it is a few tabs/titles/fields.. You can show them in a screenshot or tell me the location and we can see if a filter can be used.
If it is from their template you’ll have to talk with BuddyBoss.

    What isn’t translating?

    Hey Anna,

thanks a lot again. A lot of things are now in German because of the templates in the new map bb-marketplace πŸ™‚

The other things I will discuss with buddyBoss.

Hello Anna, I’m having trouble configuring the banner of the supplier’s store, according to the template presented on the site of presentation of the theme “http://revendor.wpsoul.net/vendors/demovendor-store/”. I have already followed the guidelines on “https://www.wcvendors.com/kb/changing-vendor-templates/” – but I have not had any results – Please you can make a video showing the ways of changing the template to stay To the ReHub website template and the Wc vendors Pro. Tell me the video link or help me with instructions please. Thank you very much

    Hello,
I wish I could- however, the author of that theme will need to assist you. The templates for WC Vendors have been modified and stored differently in that theme than is standard, so they will need a different file path in order for you to make modifications and override the template which the theme has already overridden. That is why the changes you have made, and the template that you moved using the path we describe in our KB article is not working as you expected.

I do not have an install right now with that theme so I do not know the correct file path to use in order to modify any of the templates that the ReHub:Vendor theme has already modified/changed and stored in that child theme.

Please ask the theme author what path you need to use to modify the templates, please.

Ana, thanks for the reply – I have managed to solve the problem in an incredibly simple way and I believe that many are going through the same problem. Below is the process I’ve done to solve the problem with template templates just like the ReHub site template with WC Vendors Pro.

    Come on:
1st – Make the basic settings of your WC Vendors Pro plugin along with your WooCommerce – follow this link “https://www.wcvendors.com/kb/wc-vendors-pro-setup-guide/”

2ΒΊ – Follow the guidelines indicated by the support in this link “https://www.wcvendors.com/kb/changing-vendor-templates//”

3rd – Now go to the folder where your theme of your site is installed using your FTP and remove the file “woocommerce.php” – automatically created in the installation of woocommerce. Example: /www/wp-content/themes/SEUTEMA/woocommerce.php – This file has priorities on the WC Vendors plugin templates, if you delete it the WC Vendors Pro plugins template will be applied.

I hope my answer can help you.

I just wanted to question this. If you are using WCV Pro, should the directory then be:

    themes/onesocial-child/bb-marketplace/wc-vendors-pro/dashboard/product-edit.php ??

    @jjgrady12
No, Sir- our templates are all stored with the wc-vendors path when used in the child theme or theme for modifications.
themes/onesocial-child/bb-marketplace/wc-vendors/dashboard/product-edit.php would be the correct path to store the modified template.

    @vaviv
That looks to be the correct path for the modified template.
What alterations have you made that you are expecting to see?
