Currently when a vendor adds a tracking number to an order, the customer receives two notifications:

    1. Your order has shipped
    2. A note has been added to your order – this includes the tracking number & link

Is there a way to combine these two notifications so that the customer only receives one email each time a vendor marks the order as shipped? Sending two emails that say basically the same thing is confusing and creates a bad customer experience.

I am not sure how this would be done since they are two separate functions.
Some vendors will mark shipped and not add a tracking number, so they would still wish to inform the customer that they product(s).

Makes sense, but in the case when they do add the tracking number, it makes more sense to suppress the “a note has been added to your order” email and add the tracking info to the “a vendor has marked your order as shipped” email instead. It would be far clearer and less confusing that way to the customer.

Also, @fervous, I noticed that the template in plugins/wc-vendors/templates/emails/vendor-new-order.php does not respect the WC Vendors Pro option to hide the customer billing address or contact info from the vendor front end.

When the option to hide customer billing info from the vendor front end is checked, it doesn’t appear in the vendor dashboard, but it does show in the email notifications that are sent to vendors.

    Can you please fix this?

Thank you- I will submit an issue for this.
