NOTICE: We've Moved to a Ticket System for Support

As of August 31, 2017 (12am EST) our support forums will be retired (read-only), and we will be moving to a support ticket system.  This will allow us to better organize and answer support requests, and provide a more personalized experience as we assist our customers.

    hey ben and jamie so if i use this plugin can i have my paypal standard take my subscription payments and disable my other gateways when a customer is checking out. i basically want to use the stripe and paypal adaptive gateway when when someone is buying a vendor product.

    If so is plugin hard to setup

    That should work no problem. Is it hard to setup? I don’t know never used it. Probably very easy.

    I TRIED using that plugin but i didnt see exclude paypal standard on all other product types except woo subscriptions…. it seem as if i will have add code to it…

    Not tested, but could work:

    ….Line #6 replace those #’s with the category ID # of the category your subscription product is in.

    ….Line #22 change the ‘paypal’ to the name of your PayPal Subscription gateway you want disabled on other products. e.g., our PayPal Adaptive Payments gateway is called “paypalap” as you can see on the Checkout settings in WooCommerce.

    ok i see how i can do it but the vendor have to select a category when creating a product, how can i make it mandatory for a vendor to select a category because when i created product with a vendor it let me create product without selecting a category

    Right now, categories are optional. You would have to code in validation code to your form to make one required. Not in v1.2.0 which is almost ready for release, but the next release, we plan to have checkboxes for “Required” fields on the product form tab in your WC Vendors Setting that will force the particular fields to be required, or optional. And with that will also come category exclusions, so you can exclude a category on the add/edit product page so vendors cant check it.
