After the recent WordPress update, the plugins WC Vendors (and PRO) are conflicting with the following plugins:

    – WooCommerce Multilingual
    – WPML Multilingual CMS

If I disabled the above two plugins and enable WC Vendors & WC Vendors PRO the shop will work normally, but the problem is that we need the WPML plugins because our shop supports both languages English & Arabic.

Please note that if I disable the WC Vendors & WC Vendors PRO plugins, and enable the WPML plugins then the site will also work fine.

The problem of 404 pages not found will occur only when both WC Vendors & WPML plugins are activated at the same time. Unfortunately we need them both.

Any ideas? I believe it has something to do with translation or so… Is there a way to override the WC Vendors (& PRO) to disable the languages maybe that’ll fix the problem? We can take care of translation through a different approach.

    Thanks a lot.

No idea at all. WPML setup a test server for them to test Pro/Free on, and they have had all the files for well over a month. We have not heard any compatibility issues from their compatibility team, and if there were, they would report them to us for fixing.

Thanks for replying ben. Please bear in mind this started to happen since WordPress update 4.5

In fact Ben it doesn’t work even without the WPML… So I was mistaken… Everything works fine but I activate WC Vendors or WC Vendors PRO the homepage will redirect to the my_account page with no content at all. I am running the latest version of WordPress 4.5.1. Should I send the link & wp admin access in private? Thanks.

Havent heard any other reports about this, so I’m not sure if WordPress 4.5 has much of a bearing on it or not. I did just send the WPML guys an email for giggles to see if they found any issues, though. 99% of the time when someone says there’s a problem with translations it’s because they have something set/configured wrong, or something else is breaking them. Translations, as you know, are somewhat complex. All we know is Pro works, can be translated, but the process of this is up to you. If you find anything that needs addressing just let us know of course! It almost sounds like some of the WPML rewrites are broken for some reason, I would check to make sure their plugin is updated for WP4.5 and fully compatible. Of course, issues like this are the #1 reason you should test updates first on a staging/dev server rather than on a live production website. Food for thought. 🙂

Homepage redirects to My Account? That’s a weird one. What is on your wp-admin > WooCommerce > System Status page? Anything in RED means YOUR DEAD! 🙂 Fix everything in red first, then test once done.

Hi Ben. Thanks for your quick responses. All changes are on staging definitely!

You know I’m color blind, but not to a point where I cannot see the REDs, so I assume I’m not dead yet :”) Do you mind having a very quick look? I can send you credentials in private (don’t need you to work but I know you’re pro enough to catch it so quick if that’s something minor). Thanks mate.

Ha! Go figure. Sure, send an admin username/pass and your site URL — set it as a private reply!

Hey Ben I’m not doing any changes on the website until you get back to me. No pressure it’s all appreciated – I only wanna get an idea of you’ll be able to take a look now or it’s for later so I know I can resume working. Thanks mate.

I must be blind. I dont even see WC Vendors or WC Vendors Pro installed, let alone activated/deactivated………

I installed and activated WC Vendors Free. I fixed a page you had missing (orders page) by creating the page with the shortcode and then on (wp-admin > woo > wc vendors > pages) setting the orders page. You cant delete pages. You break things this way. 🙂

I went to install Pro, but the Pro zip file size exceeds the max_upload_size so you’ll have to install Pro for me. 🙂 WC Vendors Free is currently active, and the /staging/ URL loads the homepage no problem.

Ben… Oh man you are SO brilliant! At the time you tried to see the changes I was going crazy and deleted the WC Vendor Plugins all-together to try again from scratch. I have uploaded the files again for PRO via FTP and activated it and it’s working amazingly now!

YOU ROCK!!! Your support was one of the main reasons why we decided to switch from another marketplace to this one 🙂

    Best of luck…

Awesome. So it was the missing page that was messing with your WordPress URL rewrites. Always keep pages there, even if you don’t use them! 🙂 Thanks for your compliments, glad you’re happy with the plugin and us!

    Cheers
