NOTICE: We've Moved to a Ticket System for Support

As of August 31, 2017 (12am EST) our support forums will be retired (read-only), and we will be moving to a support ticket system.  This will allow us to better organize and answer support requests, and provide a more personalized experience as we assist our customers.

    Hi Ben & Anna,

    So earlier when I created a coupon as a vendor with free shipping, the shipping costs will only dissapear for the vendor products that created the coupon, but now when I create a free shipping coupon, the free shipping is for all the products in the shopping cart, instead of only for that one vendor store.

    Did something change? Could you help me out with that?

    I was also wondering why the Coupon Description sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t. Looking forward to you reaction.

    Rebecca,
    Which version of WC Vendors, WC Vendors Pro and WooCommerce are you using?
    Would you share your WooCommerce System Status? (wp admin > woocommerce > system status)
    In my testing I am not experiencing any of these issues..
    The only alteration made recently to the vendor coupons was to change so that free shipping could be used with the coupons. Otherwise, I will check to see if anything else was altered, but I do not believe so.

    Hi Anna,

    We’re using the following versions:
    WC-version: 2.6.14
    WC Vendors Pro: 1.3.7
    WC Vendors: 1.9.8

    Before everything worked fine with the free shipping. When I created a coupon with free shipping for a vendor, the products of that vendor were free shipping and products from other vendors did not have free shipping. And now it doens’t work anymore, so I think it has something to do with the alteration with the free shipping, because that’s exactly our problem.

    Well you are actually not even using the latest version which had the updates to coupons.
    WooCommerce, WC Vendors and WC Vendors Pro have all had quite a few updates that you have not done.
    Is there a reason for you waiting to update?
    Current version:
    WooCommerce : 3.0.6
    WC Vendors 1.9.11
    WC Vendors Pro 1.4.3
    (these would all have to be updated together, as WC 3.0 update changed a lot of things!)

    Which indicates that there is actually something else that must have changed to cause the coupons to stop working as they had … another plugin? Your theme?

    Hi Anna,

    Our developer waited because Mollie (paysystem) wasn’t compatible with WooCommerce. But now I have a new problem. My developer says that the select2 plugin is causing problems and he is wondering if WC Vendor Pro supports the v4 plugin? Because of the select2 plugin the Store Export doesn’t work the way it’s supposed to work, but if he disables the select2 plugin the WC Vendor dashboard doens’t work the way it’s supposed to be. And we need both plugins to work properly. Hope you can help me out!

    I know that Jamie is working on updating some of our select2. In the meantime, there is this option, if you have not already tried it.. go to wp admin > woocommerce > WC Vendors > Pro and scroll all the way to the end of that page, you’ll see this: Disable select2 from loading with pro.
    check that box and see if this helps.

    @fervous, thanks for your reaction. So that’s what we are doing the whole time: turning the switch on and off. But if the box is checked we still are having troubles with the interface of the pro page. It’s just not working properly even though we work with the compatible BuddyBoss theme. For example: there is no save button at the settings section (shipping, etc.). Our vendor cannot add products without having trouble and that’s not how we like it. For the update there weren’t so many complains.

    @fervous, our system status is:
    WC-versie: 3.0.8

    Problems I’m seeing are the following:
    – There is no save button at the settings page. So I can’t fill in the shipping costs or seller info because I can’t save it.
    – I also can’t add a Store Banner or Icon, but I can add a photo when I create a product, so that’s weird too.
    – The settings page became like an one-checkout page which doesn’t work, because when I click on ‘Social’ I’m not being send to the Social area.
    – Also, when I edit a product I can’t resave it. So the changes I made are not saved.
    – When I create a coupon as a vendor with free shipping, the free shipping works also on other vendors products. That wasn’t the case earlier.

    Really hope these problems can be fixed!

    WooCommerce System Status:
    wp admin > woocommerce > system status > get system report > copy for support

    This sounds like a js conflict.
