Hi guys, I’m new with this incredible plugin. For now I really like it but there’s something I can’t understand or maybe I’m having a bug…

If a user buys a product Customer or Vendor cant’ see each other’s contact info. Let me explain this. After checkout, user just can see his own information as a confirmation. Vendor receives after the purchase is completed the info, but only the address.

So it’s impossible they will ever contact each other. Am I missing something?

How can in the vendors dashboard show not only the address but also the phone, name and email? Is it possible also to show after checkout the vendors info (mail + phone)? So if there’s any problem, delay or anything, vendor can send him an mail or call him?

That’s kinda correct. You could always install BuddyPress and then vendors and customers can utilize its private message system. It’s pretty easy to do, and there’s even BuddyPress integration guides right here on the site. 🙂

    Thanks for your reply Ben!

So there’s no easy way to make something like this at checkout for example?

“Thanks for your purchase of XXX product, contact the seller at email@email.com or call him: 12312321”

If not I’m going to try that buddypress option.

Thanks again for replying that fast Ben, kind regards!

Sure, you could do that on the thank you page.

You’d edit the template, and then fetch the order id for each product purchased, and then look at the author for that product, of whom is the vendor, and then with that, echo out their contact phone and email address one by one for each product purchased.

And then you could edit the email templates in WooCommerce to add the same information to the emails too.

It’s all PHP, so code it up as your heart desires!
