The Dashboard has been working for my vendors until recently when it has stopped working for some vendors (the ones who use the system the most)

I’ve tried updating everything, trying the storefront theme, re-saving my permalinks and creating the dashboard page again.

DO you knwo if those stores/vendors had any old orders that you had deleted without reversing the commissions?

    Hi Anna

I’m not sure – is there an easy way I can tell?

I currently have 3 orders in the bin and 4 cancelled ones.

    Thanks

    Guy

    Hello,
If you, admin, have deleted any past orders without reversing commissions- this can occur. However, we’ll have some checks built into the next version of Pro that will prevent issues if this happens.
DO you recall completed deleting any orders without reversing the commissions?
If so, these order lines can be dropped in your pv_commissions table in your database.

I am not certain this is your issue; since this is only happening with busy vendors, there may be another issue.
Had you updated your theme or any plugins right before this issue started occurring?
Have you tested by deactivating all plugins except WC Vendors, WC Vendors Pro and WooCommerce to see if perhaps there is a plugin conflict?

Not likely related.. but your theme does have an outdated template that may affect other functions on your site:

toolset-starter-child/woocommerce/myaccount/orders.php version 2.6.0 is out of date. The core version is 3.0.0

SO you may wish to check for a theme update if available.

I’m still having exactly the same problem. I’ve been running the site for two years – I can’t remember if I deleted something. This only affects vendors who have many orders (thousands / more!).

Now a new issue has popped up – products aren’t being submitted and it just disappears.

    Please assist!

    Thanks

    Jean,
Would you please start a new forum topic so you can include your WooCommerce System Status and admin info for us when starting the topic?
Then I can better assist you.

If you have any old deleted orders for which the commissions was not reversed, you may need to go to your database and find the pv_commission table- then drop the old deleted orders form that table.

I don’t know what you mean by “these order lines can be dropped in your pv_commissions table in your database” – but we have the missing dashboard too (although the links to the order screen etc. are there, but the normal front page with the pie chart and stuff is gone.

I’ve sent some failed orders to the trash, but I don’t know how to find them now. We don’t do commissions (100% gets sent to the vendor). So I don’t understand.

Will the next update fix this for us?

    Hello,
If you have deleted orders in the past… you can go to your database (if using cPanel, you would go to PhpMyAdmin) and find the database table with pv_commission in the name.
Click on that table and find any deleted orders.
Drop those lines from the database table.

We have built in some checks int he next version of Pro (will be released very soon) that should prevent this from happening.

However, in the future, if you decide to delete an order- first mark the commissions due (it does not matter if you have it set to 100% commission rate), and then mark it reversed. Then you can delete it.
Otherwise, the system is still looking for those orders and it causes these errors.
