Can you tell me the differences?
I do not understand what the differences are.

Except: Various slugs and once the banner is displayed, once not.

    Hi Chris,

Vendor stores is the new feature in pro that will allow us to create a Vendor front page instead of only hooking into the product archive. This will allow us to have more control (in future updates) as to what is displayed on the vendors store page. In a future release, you will be able to allow vendors to have ‘featured products’ on their store and other widgets. There will also be store based categories so that you can browse the store’s categories only.

Vendors is what free uses to hook into the basic store layout.

    cheers,

    Jamie.

okay, thanks. so I can deactivate the normal shop settings (delete links etc, don’t show in frontend) and only use the pro dashboard, so users dont wondering about this twice identical setting pages and shop templates.

    Hi Chris,

Don’t delete the pages as it will break, everything. WC Vendors has checks throughout its code to determine if those pages are set and if they aren’t everything comes to a grinding halt.

It’s best to remove the links from your menus and any support documentation but leave the pages active and the short codes in them.

    cheers,

    Jamie.
