Currently, all payments come into the admin account. This can later be settled as per configuration.

I was wondering how does this work with cod sales.

Say at the end of the month, I have sales as below

    1) Card sales 1000
    2) COD sales 500

Hence giving a total sales of 1500 while the amount owed to the vendor is 1000. What is the amount the system would settle?

Whatever payment gateway you use does not matter. If the order is processing, or completed, vendors get marked due their commission.

But the problem is the amount admin owes to the vendor since the payment is collected in the admins account . If the vendor is doing payment on delivery, they are responsible for collecting payments so the admin does not have that amount in admins bank account.

So what would be the amount admin transfers to the vendors account automatically. Is it Total sales? Hope not. :S

That’s up to you how you collect payment on your site. Obviously, if a vendor gets 100% of the funds, you’ll need to have the vendor pay you your cut. That’s up to you as to how you do that.
