    Hey I’ve been considering buying the PRO edition but have to be absolutely sure that the vendor pages work properly with X theme on PRO since the store banner is hidden on the free version (themcos fault i know 😉 ) but understand the vendor pages are handled in another way in the PRO version?

    Thanks in advance!

    If you cant get the vendor shop page to show the banner in Free, it wont work in Pro either. It uses the same method, hooking into WooCommerce. If X still hasnt made their theme 100% woocommerce compatible, we cant really do anything about that. 🙂 Wish I had a better answer for you!

    @ben hey okay, guess i’ll have to rework everything for Avada or something like that, have any experience if that works?

    Thanks for very quick reply too! 🙂

    If anyone is interested I found this solution created by a user of x theme on their forums

    https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/woocommerceshop-pages-layouts/

    it actually functions now!

    @ben just tagging so you can send them to this if more rebellious x theme users come about 🙂

    Good to know, thanks kronborg! Isnt it amazing what we must resort to when a theme author says they are woocommerce compatible but actually arent? 🙂

    Yeah it is pretty stupid. I was infuriated by the possibility of having to change to another theme and do all that work again 😀

    But good it is sorted out!

    Hey I fixed this issue back then, I have been taking some pictures on 28 August which shows the shop description on single product pages, however, when I looked the pages over yesterday it did not show anymore and still does not.

    I know it’s my job to contact the theme, but since I have not deleted anything and everything is up to date-

    I want to ask, could you think of anything that could have interfered with the setup?

    An update of sorts or anything? I am running the free version and have tried to restore Wc Vendors to build before 28th August

    Thanks for your time! 🙂

    @kronborg,
    Are you using WC Vendors PRO or only free?
    If you are using PRO, Did you have to modify the store header template? That template was modified for the release 1.3.6
    * Templates Updated:
    templates/store/store-header.php

    @fervous

    Purely on free, sadly.

    I have been through the changelog to look for template updates but have not found any.

    I sort of hoped it was a bug, since I have no clue as to what the reason for the missing shop description is.

    Thanks for a quick reply! 🙂

    Did X revise their WooCommerce structure? perhaps they have moved to actually including the archive-product.php and this fix is no longer needed.
    Maybe check with them and see what updates they have done, as they may be structuring the pages differently now.

    Checked up with Xtheme.

    They say nothing new have come up :/

    I have attached an image of the code used to manipulate Xtheme via woocommerce.php

    This is what X gave you — a few lines of code — https://www.wcvendors.com/members/kronborg/media/2043/

    THIS is what you need. 🙂 https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/tree/master/templates

    They need to template it out, or use the hooks in the templates, for their theme compatibility. Until then, they are just “kindof woocommerce compatible”.

    @ben

    Hey Ben!

    I’m getting back to you since I have not solved the problem at hand.

    I have switched to Avada and use its child theme. I have not edited anything but redirect of vendor to vendor_dashboard on login and added some css classes to the vendor_dashboard.

    I have tried with storefront, and Wc Vendors still does not display shop header on single product pages. I have tried disabling both Wordfence and Ithemes Security as mentioned in this forum, but still to no relief. But since it neither works on Storefront nor Avada, it must be my setup, or something in Wc Vendors that is the problem.

    Have you experienced this before? I simply cannot understand where the issue is, I have tried a lot of solutions now and nothings helps.

    I have attached some proof of my statements. The screenshots are with Storefront theme. For production site with Avada, follow this link:
