    Automatic updates of the pro plugin don’t work on my site, so I missed the 1.3.2 release. But the 1.3.3 release that was most recently released made template changes that my theme can’t handle yet. So, can I grab 1.3.2 from somewhere?

    Alternatively, would it be safe to update all files in 1.3.3 but retain the 1.3.1 template files, until my theme is updated?

    In some cases, you can still use old template files, you’re just encouraged to test things first. 😉 Most of our template changes are long completed now, the only thing we’d change them for now is new features, or adding/removing things like SnapChat to the Social Branding tab as an example. But since most of the template code calls functions from our controllers, usually we update the functions, rather than the templates, since then everything just works and is so much easier for everyone.

    You can get Pro v1.3.2 by replying to your WC Vendors Order Receipt email, and saying “SEND ME 1.3.2!”. I’ll reply with it as a zip file. Frankly though the template changes were nothing incredibly special from 1.3.2 to 1.3.3 not sure why/if you really want to bother with that……

    Hi David are you using One Social theme? I’m just about to update…

    Of course, because reading changelogs is very important, I’ll assume you all have done so and see:

    * Templates Updated:
    	templates/dashboard/order/order_details.php
    	templates/dashboard/store-settings.php
    	templates/store/store-header.php

    …and of course, common sense tells me to look for those files within Social Marketplace to see if they are being overridden:

    ben@server1 [/home/devel/www/wp-content/themes]# ls -laR | grep order_details.php
    ben@server1 [/home/devel/www/wp-content/themes]# ls -laR | grep store-settings.php
    ben@server1 [/home/devel/www/wp-content/themes]# ls -laR | grep store-header.php

    …and since no results were found, that means you’re safe to update because no templates that Social Marketplace overrides are part of the 1.3.3 update. Yay! 🙂

    Scratch that, I forget Social Marketplace uses the /plugins/ dir to hold their template overrides. I see store-header.php and store-settings.php as two templates they override. The store-header.php is what controls the vendor store headers, with their banner/icon/info on the vendor store page. store-settings.php was updated to include Snapchat as an option. And likely the header template to display it. Chances are you wont need to update the templates unless you want to provide Snapchat links on your site, so you’d still be good to go. 🙂

    Yes, ben, because I checked for template changes is exactly why I asked.

    It is true that those files are not overridden within OneSocial, per se. However, the addon from BuddyBoss (BuddyBoss Marketplace) that makes it work nicely with WCV does contain some of those template files.

    Thus, I don’t know how safe it is to update.

    [EDIT] You corrected yourself before I could. Kudos. 🙂
