NOTICE: We've Moved to a Ticket System for Support

As of August 31, 2017 (12am EST) our support forums will be retired (read-only), and we will be moving to a support ticket system.  This will allow us to better organize and answer support requests, and provide a more personalized experience as we assist our customers.

    During checkout, why does the customer have to enter their email twice? I am testing as both guest and logged in user. After entering email address in billing area, I click on Enter Payment Details and then must reenter my email address.

    Is it not possible to use the address I’ve already entered? It’s not great user experience to ask for the same info twice.

    Hello,
    Normally, they shouldn’t.
    I believe this is happening becuase you have chosen to use the Stripe checkout form.
    You can use the regular checkout form (and customers will still have the option check out using Stripe) by making sure this checkbox is NOT selected:
    wp admin > woocommerce > settings > checkout > Stripe Checkout : Stripe Checkout Enable Stripe Checkout
