Hi, I was just wondering if there is an escrow system to hold payment to sellers until the service is delivered …
Not technically, but somewhat. You can use PayPal Adaptive Payments and then run payments on a schedule — that would delay the time a vendor receives their automatic commissions. But there’s no way currently (not in any plugin I’m aware of either, not just ours) to “hold” a commission until the service is rendered.

Yes.. well they ARE taking steps to move towards Braintree and other solutions. Adaptive payments can still be used- and I know Jamie is aware and plans to work toward changing also and adding more integration for other payment options in the future. For now.. PayPal AP and Stripe Commissions & Gateway 😉We’re a new marketplace, we havent even rolled yet, I was just wondering if paypal adaptive is still accepting new clients? Or they are just maintaining their old users? If otherwise, I guess we’re stuck 🙁 -we desperately need an escrow system that is cash-based, not based on mycred points for example.
