NOTICE: We've Moved to a Ticket System for Support

As of August 31, 2017 (12am EST) our support forums will be retired (read-only), and we will be moving to a support ticket system.  This will allow us to better organize and answer support requests, and provide a more personalized experience as we assist our customers.

For the time being, we will leave our forums open for reading and learning while we work on creating a more robust Knowledge Base for everyone to use.

If you are a WC Vendors Pro customer please open a support ticket here.

If you are a WC Vendors user please open a support ticket on the Wordpress.org forums.

The information on this forum is outdated and in most instances no longer relevant. Please be sure to check our documentation for the most up to date information.

    Hey everybody,

we are building a marketplace where vendors would be able to sell events. We think that WC-vendor pro could be our solution for marketplace.

On the other hand we would be really grateful if someone could point out appropriate plugins that would allow our vendors to post their events and that would be compatible with WC-vendor pro? Events would be the only product type on our Site.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi Uros,

WC Vendors Pro version 1.2 will support WooThemes Bookings. (This will be in roughly 45-60 days). This is probably going to be the best solution for exactly what you’re looking for. 🙂

    Cheers

    Ben

Wow, that was fast. Thank you Ben.

More than classical booking we have in mind a ticket system. Like for example with Eventica theme: http://demo.toko.press/eventica-wooticket/event/wordcamp-san-antonio/

Since this Eventica theme is Woocomerce theme we believe (we already read this here on your page) it would also be fully compatible with your WC-vendor pro plugin. Is this right? The question is, would this theme alowe vendors to add their own events or is this ment for admin only?

That would work, however, you’d have to add all the custom fields for the event ticketing stuff to the add/edit product templates for WC Vendors Pro. If you’re reasonably good with PHP you could have it done in short work. 🙂

Thank you once again Ben. It is not our intention to break the rules of this forum, so excuse us if this is not the correct place to ask such things. Since we do not have the website at the moment, where can we get your quote for such integration if you would do it for us?

This forum doesnt really have any rules. You can talk freely about anything you like. 🙂

An integration quote for the event ticketing plugin/theme would probably be in the $200-$500 range. We don’t know how much, until we’ve begun work on it and see if it’s easy, or if it’s a real pain in the ass. 😉

Thank you for the answer. Meaning that the integration of Eventica theme and Wootickets plugin with WC Vendors Pro would preserve all the funcionality of WC Vendors Pro? Like proper checkout (Paypal Adaptive usage), proper statistics and everything? Before we decide we need an confirmation that this integration would not lead to endless customization, since we have this experience already with some other plugins.

Are you confident in stating that this is doable so the Site would work?

Can you please once again check this link: http://demo.toko.press/eventica-wooticket/

This is the functionality we want, but vendors should be able to add events/tickets, everything should be shown on their shop pages and their WC Vendors dashboard should work.

I still have 39 more email/forum replies to answer to this morning. We’d be able to help you customize Pro with WooCommerce Tickets, but it wouldn’t be till mid-December before we have the time to dedicate to the project. It’d (guessing) be around $300-$500 to do as well.

    Hey,

we have finally bought your great WC Vendors Pro plugin and we would like that you take care of integrating it with Woocommerce Tickets plugin and Eventica theme on our site. Since you are designer of WC Vendors you are definitelly the one who can do it professionally and quickly. We would really like to talk about the details with you. Please contact us.

    Hello,

We too would be keen to get this integration with wootickets done, – this could even be a paid extension to WCvenors?

    @Uros
have you tested any other ticket plugins with this?. i think wooTickets seems to be the only decent ticket plugin for woocommerce / wordpress….

Shoot me a copy of WooTickets to [email protected] — I’ll check out how the plugin works and get an idea if integration would be simple, or hard. I’m in Integration mode right now doing one for WooCommerce Simple Auctions, so might as well look while it’s all fresh in my head.

    Hey Steve and Ben,

    @Steve
: we made some things with Event Calendar and other plugins from Event Calendar creators, but we think that also this setup requires customization to be as we want it to be.

@Ben: we think that your plugin is great and we would definitely still be interested in quick integration with wooTickets. We did not decide on integration because of pretty long timeline. We really look forward to hearing from you after you check the thing.

Thank you Steve to come up with same idea 😉

    Hi Ben

Whats the status on the integration for The events calendar (events tickets plus)
Can the WC Vendors plugin be used/intergrate with the tickets plugin?

    Wootickets is retired

There is nothing scheduled for that whatsoever. You can probably do it, just gotta fetch all the meta keys and make sure everything is correct.

In a few days, we’ll be releasing our WooCommerce Simple Auctions integration. It’ll be a free plugin. I’d strongly recommend downloading it and using it as a template for the Events/Tickets plugin you decide to use. And of course, in the spirit of free plugins, if you get it to work, we would love to host it to offer to others for free on the site here.
