NOTICE: We've Moved to a Ticket System for Support

    Hello,

    When creating a product, the option to insert a featured image for a product does not appear. I have made sure that the settings allow a featured image to be displayed, but it is still not showing. Any suggestions?

    Hello Chase,
    If you would go through some standard debugging steps, this will help us try to isolate what may be the issue.
    Question- is the featured image upload area completely not visible on the page? Or is it just not working properly?

    Debugging steps:
    1. please switch to the Storefront theme (temporarily) to see if there is a conflict with your theme. https://wordpress.org/themes/storefront/ Test and see if the featured image is working when using Storefront.

    2. If not, now deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce, WC Vendors and WC Vendors Pro. Test again to see if it is working. If so, then re-activate your plugins one by one, testing after each re-activation, to see which one is causing the issue with the featured image.

    Let me know what you learn from the debugging steps.

    Sorry I see now you are already using Storefront.
    If the plugin deactivation does not help, let me know and I will login to your admin and take a look.

    I figured out which plugin was causing the problem. It is BuddyPress for WC Vendors (BP WC Vendors), should I contact them about the bug or are you able to assist me?

    Chase,
    I am sure that the author of that plugin would appreciate knowing that there is an issue. They come and post here sometimes, and they are typically helpful.
    You can continue working with WC Vendors and WC Vendors Pro and get your store configured- and work with the BP WC Vendors plugin author so this bug can hopefully be resolved. The Pro dashboard will not be in your buddypress profile pages until that is resolved.
