ParticipantHi Ben,
I could notice this issue when I recently updated the new version. Our vendors could upload images in our site vasthrajewels.com but even after selecting “Set as featured image”, this is not working at all. Can you please help?
Also, if you could tell me if there is any possibility to resize the fields: product category, tags and attribute, it would be great. If you would like to have a test seller id and password to access Pro dashboard, please let me know. Appreciate your help.
Thanks and best regards.

ParticipantHi Naga,
You should test this on dev.wcvendors.com login/password vendor1 — This is our dev/demo server. If you experience the same issue on the dev server, then it’s a bug we need to fix. If you do not experience the same issue, it’s something on your end goofing things up and you’ll have to debug by following these instructions:
For changing the size of the fields — You could filter out the fields and change how they are displayed. It’s not quite simple, though, you’d have to write a filter for it and then change a lot of the attributes.

ParticipantHi Naga,
https://mediatemple.net/community/products/dv/204643880/how-can-i-create-a-phpinfo.php-page
Create that phpinfo page and then you can see if GD is installed. You’ll see it in the list of output on the page you created, if you don’t, then your webhosting admin will need to install GD.
Have you tried with a different theme? Try with Storefront. Let me know!

ParticipantTry with the Storefront theme, koran. If it works in Storefront, you’ve got a theme issue.

ParticipantHi Ben,
As per mentioned in the link, I have also placed PHP file in our server and could see GD is enabled. Please refer the below link.
http://vasthrajewels.com/phpinfo.php
Also, I tried with storefront theme, but with no luck. The same issue exists still. Could you please investigate further on this? As of now, we are uploading in gallery and later we move them as featured image as admin (Work around plan). Thanks.

ParticipantNaga,
Yup, I see GD enabled, and you’re running a good version of PHP as well. Your PHP settings are just fine.
Have you tried with all plugins (except WC Vendors Free, Pro & WooCommerce) disabled? That’s the next step, report back once you’ve tried this.

KeymasterHello,
I’ve also taken a look but am unable to find the issue. I do remember we had some issues with earlier versions of some files. I’m wondering how did you update to the latest version of the plugin?
cheers,
Jamie.
January 24, 2016 at 4:47 am #21316Naga
ParticipantHi Jamie,
For free version, we got notification within WordPress to update. But, for vendors pro version, I manually downloaded the recent version and upload / activate in WordPress. Thanks.
January 24, 2016 at 6:53 am #21321Jamie
KeymasterHi Naga,
Can you re-upload the pro plugin and ensure ALL files are overwritten in the directory, I think you might have an old version of a file somewhere.
cheers,
Jamie.

KeymasterHello,
I have a few other issues to work on then I’ll take a look at this one. It’s very weird as I’m unable to replicate this anywhere.
cheers,
Jamie.

ParticipantHi Jamie,
It’s been a while, we raised this issue. Can you please advise when can you support us on this issue?
Thanks.
February 14, 2016 at 5:09 pm #23996WC Vendors Support
ParticipantHi Naga,
The hard part on this one is none of us can replicate this problem, and no other member has reported this as a problem. It only seems to be a problem on your site. Why? Don’t know. Webserver settings? Plugins conflicting? Theme conflicting? Custom code conflicting? Outdated templates? Whatever it is, if we can’t replicate it, it’s impossible to “fix” if we can’t see it broken and reproduce the error.

ParticipantI’have the same issue on my website, working with the last version of WC Vendors pro.
I’m running on a dedicated server with Nginx.
I also tried to reupload the plugin but still the issue.NB : It’s important to notice that it’s possible to upload a image in the gallery but not in the feature image :

ParticipantThat’s a webserver error log, which isnt what we’re looking for….. Console error check means check your web browser for errors. In Chrome, it’s Control+Shift+J and then you look at the errors you see to look for issues there.
February 20, 2016 at 11:31 am #24440ilann
ParticipantOh sorry, this is the error in chrome
February 20, 2016 at 11:33 am #24441WC Vendors Support
ParticipantThere we go, that’s better. 🙂
What plugins do you have installed right now? Did you go through this article to debug it before asking your question here?
February 20, 2016 at 11:42 am #24445ilann
ParticipantI have disable all plugins and put storefront and it’s the same error
February 20, 2016 at 12:11 pm #24452WC Vendors Support
ParticipantThanks ilann,
Please delete WC Vendors Pro, and re-upload your v1.2.2 zip file to your server. You’re using v1.0.0 of the javascript file which is probably causing that issue, which means the plugin didnt update properly or you didnt overwrite the javascript files when uploading/overwriting Pro.
Download the latest Pro @ wcvendors.com/my-account/
I would have done it myself, but I cant since you have a ftp firewall active for deleting/reinstalling plugins. 🙂
February 20, 2016 at 12:32 pm #24460ilann
ParticipantThanks for looking, i have delete and re-upload and still that issue..
February 20, 2016 at 12:35 pm #24461WC Vendors Support
ParticipantThanks. Please email me with your website login details one more time — I deleted them from the thread already. ben@ this domain is my email. I’ll have Jamie hop on and check out why your site is calling the wrong version of JavaScript and get back with you. Please include a link to this thread when you send your email, otherwise it takes me an hour to find forum posts because we have so many. 🙂
