NOTICE: We've Moved to a Ticket System for Support

    Hi there,

    I’m running a store and give the full cost of item to the vendor, and then take a fee.

    The fee is calculated as:
    -Percentage of product sales, plus
    -Number of products

    Blue Item $50 $1.25 1 $51.25
    Red Item $50 $1.25 1 $51.25
    Total 2 $102.50

    Am I able to set WP Vendors/commissions/fees up so I get the $2.50, they get the $100?

    Hello Adam,
    You can customize commissions, yes. It will require using the wcv_commission_rate filter.
    Here are some examples of how the rate can be adjusted:

    Thanks for your help with this Anna. I’ve entered the code in, but it doesn’t seem to be adding it. All my vendors are seeing $0 in commission.

    I need them to see 100% of the product price (and I will receive extra fees as described above).
    I’m also unsure what to enter as a percentage.

    For example, if I add 5% to $100, it makes it $105 (105%).
    But 95% commission of $105 is $99.75. Should I instead put 0.9523809524 as the percentage? Does it still calculate everything correctly when including the per-item fee, too?

    It almost feels like I should be doing something like ‘reverse commission” here, or even something other than commission, because the vendor takes the sale amount, I just add fees and take those.

    Hi there WC Vendors,

    Thank you for your help with this – I got it working!

    I add a fee on at checkout, and then give 100% commission to the vendors, and the extra fees aren’t included. Very excited to have it all functional 🙂

    My question now, is with my sales reports, how can I get it to display “minus commission”? So I need to remove payment gateway cost (only Paypal at this stage), but more importantly the vendor cost, so I can see just my own revenue.
