I have a client that want to give their vendors the ability to select different shipping options depending on the product weight, locations etc.
For example if a client sells shirt buttons and shipping is 5.00 per product, it would cost 15.00 for 3 x light shirt buttons.
So letting users be able to select by weight + also if they want next day 24 hours delivery, First Class delivery, Second Class Delivery etc.
I installed https://github.com/academe/wc-multiple-packages as well which helps to separate the shipping but not quite the full solution I need.
I found this plugin https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/flexible-shipping/ that would possibly work, but is there a way to integrate this to show up in the vendors dashboard (frontend)?This would be very useful if this can be made possible. Many thanks in advance.

We will have some more shipping options is Pro version 1.4.0, but not exactly what you are looking for.
We are limited at this time due to the fact that shipping is calculated on a per product basis, and not by vendor. So, although there will be more options, they will not be as fine tuned as you are requesting.Here are some of the shipping options that should be available in version 1.4.0:

For shipping features:
So far, for Flat Rate, we should have these features added:
Minimum spend per vendor for shipping (store level)
Maximum spend per vendor for shipping (store level)
Max spend per product ( Charge no more than X no matter qty ) (product and store level)
Per order flat rates ie: $5 no matter the items international and national (store level)
Free shipping over x spend ( store level, product level? )For country Table rate, these features should be added:
zip codes
zip code wildcard
zip code ranges
qty overrides per entry
Max spend no more than $X no matter qty (product and store level)
Remove any flat rate shipping options from shipping configuration in admin area when selected
Show country rate table for admin override and calculate shipping based on this.Hi Anna, many thanks for your response.
Using this solution: https://github.com/academe/wc-multiple-packages this allows you to separate by Vendor, so perhaps the added features in v1.4 might solve our issue.

In the future there may be work done to the base of WC Vendors, and how vendor orders are treated; until then, there are limitations.
v1.4.0 is being wrapped up, but I do not know a release date yet. Some other bugs have required attention, which took time away form the finishing… Soon, though. 😉Many thanks for your response Anna, really appreciate the quick reply.
My client needs the site to go live end of Jan / First week of Feb. If there’s no indication that it will be done by then or before, I may have to figure out an alternative solution.
(Fingers crossed v1.4 will ready by then haha!)
