    Hi,

So I’m trying to follow this tutorial Ben helpfully put together: https://www.wcvendors.com/knowledgebase/using-front-end-new-product-submissions/

In section 17, it says about using shortcodes to link to the ADD NEW PRODUCT page etc. But I’m not sure why in the tutorial the shortcodes are showing up as buttons? What are the actual shortcodes? Or am I just being stupid? I didn’t think there were shortcodes for this kind of thing.

Aaah, woops! 🙂 That was an error in the way WordPress was displaying that KnowledgeBase Article. It’s all updated now and you can see the code in it now. Thanks for pointing this out!

Being unable to offer product variants is kind of unthinkable…

Yea, torb, but we dont write WPUF. We have no control over their features. Your complaint should be delivered to them. 🙂 As I mentioned in the other thread, full front end support is on our todo list, we just arent quite there yet.

It was not my intent to complain about WPUF to you 🙂 I was rather pointing out the fact that you cannot rely on WPUF for frontend submission of variable products. Knowing that, it would be a good thing to add to the product – or make a fully functional backend, as suggested in my thread found here: https://www.wcvendors.com/help/topic/vendor-backend/

I am very happy I have found your product. I do however hope you will be able to provide a seamless user experience – either in the backend OR the frontend 🙂
