HI am very interested to find out if your pro version has geolocation and one of the features where by customers can search the site based on their location similar to what you get in directory themes. I’ve read some of your forums and seem to suggest that you might have this in the works or have updated it to the pro version.
If you dont have this as a feature of pro is your plugin compatible with http://woogeolocation.com/

No. However………………. One theme author, and one plugin author, have made it easier for you.
Theme: Social Marketplace has a built in widget to allow geolocation of vendor stores.
Plugin: WC Vendors Maps (google, it, Philopress is the author) will give your customers a map to find vendors on, and it also gives vendors a map to show where their customers from your site are from. It’s compatible with all themes as far as I know. And it works with WC Vendors Free & Pro.
I can say with utmost certainty, you’ll be much better off with WC Vendors Maps + WC Vendors Free than you would be with Dokan. 😉 Search the forums here for the word Dokan and you’ll see nearly all incredibly hilariously horrific reviews of their product and their support. Food for though anyway, if you’re not already solidly attached to our software. (Plus, we answer you in hours, not weeks like they do — look at their forum response times! OUCH!)
Ben, do you happen to know if the widget allows you to search product based on geolocating, as opposed to just sellers?
No clue! There’s a bunch of Social Marketplace users here, since of course the theme *requires* WC Vendors to work. I’d perhaps bump a thread there and ask, I’m sure you’ll get a reply!
I think i asked the question wrong. what am looking for is a way where by the customer can enter their location or zip and are presented with the products close to their location not on a map but rather to work with the already features like the menu/submenu and the product filter
Can this plugin work with some add-on to be capable of this??? pro or lite ????
