    Hi.

I would like that my users can offer services, in addition of products.

The way to sell products is easy. A product is submmited by vendor and when product is sold, marketplace get a fee.

But if a vendor wants to sell a service, how can i implement a way to get a fee?

Services are not physical products, but are not virtual neither, so customers cant download anything in the web.

Customer will not be required to give money,by the service provider, until the service have been used.

Any idea about resolving this inconvenient?

Any payments gateways could resolve it?

You could copy and paste WooThemes’s COD or Cheque module, and then make it only usable for products in the “Services” category or something like that. Then you’d have to hope the vendors tell you when the order is completed so you get your commissions. You’ll just want to be creative on this one, there’s for sure a way just so many different ways to do it.

    Yes. Of course.

Being a little creative i think the following web could give some clue about the way to face it.

In this web there are a lot nursery services. The relation between customer and a nurse is the following:

Customer choose a nurse he likes (depending of the profile description and of some categories), after that customer send her a “contact ask” with the date customer needs.

After that if nurse can give the service in the selected date she confirm the meeting and a comission is collected from the customer and another from the nurse (service vendor).

I would settle for get only a comissiom intead of two. I think double comission is to much.
