Hey guys,
I can’t seem to configure the plugin to give vendors shipping. Using the stripe gateway if that makes a diff.
I’ve tried individual vendor override option and main give vendors shipping option. Neither give the vendor the shipping.
gateway is in test mode.
Hope you know the one secret that’ll make it work 😉

BjørnYou might have trouble with this until v1.1 when our Shipping Module is released. 🙂 Per Product Shipping doesnt work with Pro, and the free WooCommerce shipping modules never have because they use global carts.
Will the shipping module be included as part of Pro or be a separate add-on? Is this still set to come out sometime this month?
Oh for sure. All new features will be part of Pro, you wont have to pay more for that at all. Should be 12-14 days.
Is this “Give Vendor shipping” feature going to be a part of the Free version as well? Now the shipping can not be charged by vendor, only the Admin. Then it makes it difficult to deal, and the vendor has less desire to register. Thanks!
The Give Vendor Shipping feature is ONLY for Free right now and has been a feature of it for 6 months? 9 months? Somewhere around there. 🙂 Our own shipping module will replace it entirely for Pro users, and provide that flexibility plus a ton more.

should that “Give Shipping (%), Shipping override for vendor” be checked or not? Thanks again!It should be checked. And it will only work with WooThemes Per Product Shipping and Multiple Packages plugin, it will not work with any other shipping option.
Just to clarify for readers, Multiple Packages by Academe (Jason Judge) is compatible, however, it won’t attribute shipping payments to vendors automatically. It will store shipping fees as separate line items in the order which allow you to keep track of what shipping is due and manually issue payments as needed. If your goal is to have shipping payments go to vendors during checkout, this plugin does not support that functionality.
Sorry to bump/pester, just curious if this topic has progressed at all. Are we still on schedule for it? My vendors are annoyed that shipping comes later as a separate manual paypal payment because it’s making accounting more complicated.

We havent started on the shipping module yet. Jamie’s still tearing his head out replacing all the foundation with stuff that is 100% theme compatible. We’re almost done on that part though so 1.0.2 should be ready really soon.

We are trying to set up the Pro version in our first experience with MultiVendor plugin. We need to assign different shipping options to each vendor, because they are based in several locations. But we can´t find this functionality. Can we do this with this plugin? We have to install Multiple Packages plugin in order to make this possible?

Shipping is “DONE!” — But we’re just putting it through rigorous testing before it’s pushed live. @digitalchild should have it packaged up shortly. If you want to mess around with it on dev.wcvendors.com vendor1/vendor1 have fun. 🙂
So if you purchase the Wc Vendor Pro with your new shipping module do you still need to purchase the woocommerce pay per product plugin? Or will it push the shipping payment directly to the vendor with using the wc vendor pro version by it’s self?
@congdon220 — The Vendor Shipping extension is included in WC Vendors Pro. You do not need any other shipping plugins if the Vendor Shipping extension does everything you need. It will indeed pay the shipping to the vendor if you have enabled that in your options as well.

Any funds (after indiegogo fees) will go to the WCVendors dev team to integrate WCVendors with Australia Post/FedEx/etc API’s.
With WC Vendors Free v2.0 (end of summer ish), we can then recode Pro’s shipping system. The reason is that right now, all products from multiple vendors are placed in one single order. In Free v2.0, we’ll have an option for you to place only one vendors products in one single order, and automatically create new order numbers for other vendors products from the same purchase. If a customer buys a product from Vendor A and a product from Vendor B, they checkout ONCE, but have two order #’s. Why is this important? It will allow us to expand the shipping system in a way that can calculate rates based on all those various plugins for shipping.
This is a massive undertaking, and a ton of work. If you fund this campaign, it doesnt mean we can drop everything we are doing right now and begin on it, we still have to finish adding features to Pro’s core first. Variable, Attributes, Bookings, etc… And then we can begin on the fun upgrades to continue to extend WC Vendors Pro out of the box usefulness.
