Ok, so i went ahead and bought the pro plugin! 🙂
    Thank you for making this.

I do have a few issues though.

    1. In wc-vendors –> Payments / The total of commissions due is always at Zero.

    2. Second, My hosting (Pagely) had to patch wc vendor free. They commented out the session_start function because it was preventing my whole site from being cached.
    wp-content/plugins/wc-vendors/class-wc-vendors.php line #82
Maybe improving the code to be more compatible with Varnish cache could help? I think that that is what they are using.

    3. When creating the new pages for PRO, do i have to put the short codes in myself or should they have been inserted automatically when selecting the (new) page. This does not seem to be working for me yet. And i did save the permalinks.

Oh and i went to see, no system errors in woocommerce system status. 😉

    Thank you for any Help

    Dominic

1.) Do you have a commission rate set? wp-admin > woocommerce > wc vendors > and set a commission rate — number only, no % signs.

2.) I would not recommend doing that. You’ll break a lot of the vendor dashboard. We’ll look at a way to update that in the future so that session_start is not needed, but for now, it’s needed. 😉

3.) Pro pages are created automatically upon activation. You can confim this by going through the WC Vendors settings and seeing that the pages are set right on all of the tabs that have a page to set. 🙂 If not, create the page with the shortcode shown on the wc vendors settings tabs, or set the page if its already created. See #2, though, this might be your problem.

    1. Yep, i do have a commission set. I have been using this plugin for long time now.

    2. What should i be doing, not cache the site??

    3. I have deactivated pro. It but back on my site all the “sold by” codes. I need to access ftp to remove all this. Will have access to it in an hour.

So when they ask me to choose a “pro dashboard” and a “feedback” page, i should not of created some and would of had to search in all my pages for some that were already there?

1.) If you have a commission rate set, and the product is assigned to a vendor, that’s the commission they get. Make sure the users account doesnt have a commission override, and that the product doesnt have a commission override, too.

2.) Varnish is probably not the way to go. I’d just go page caching with W3 as it works exceptionally well with WooCommerce and WordPress in general.

    3.) Ok

4.) Yes, if the page field is empty, search for the “Pro Dashboard” page or “Feedback” page. If they don’t exist, the page you are on tells you the shortcode to add to the page (text mode not visual mode of course!). Then reload the settings page again and add the page you just created.

    1) Nop all is as it should be and still it wont show up. But it is ok in every other report so… It has alway been like that but i decided to talk to you about it since im here in the forums now.

    2) Pagely is a managed WordPress hosting service. Like many others. Not much i can do on how they cache my site.

    3) Pages seem to work now. Will explore more to see if i have other questions. I also removed all the “sold by” with the PHP code in the knowledge base.

Also, i just had my first sale with someone using a coupon and it did not work. This is almost the only reason why i purchased this PRO version. Maybe i got this set up wrong…

    Hi Riche,

Your site appears to be configured correctly. I see the Payments tab is showing $0, yet you have commissions set as Due. Since your website is live, I don’t want to go in full debug mode and break it on you. Try this:

1.) Switch to TwentyFifteen or Storefront theme. Reload the Payments tab. Does it still show $0? If YES, re-activate your original theme and go to step #2. If no, let me know it’s a theme issue.

2.) Disable all plugins other than WC Vendors, WC Vendors Pro, and WooCommerce. Reload the payments tab. Does it still show $0? If YES, re-activate all the plugins. If NO, re-activate plugins one at a time and reload the Payments tab until you find the plugin that is conflicting, and let me know which plugin it is.

There’s a bug in coupons that’ll be fixed next release, too.

Ok… will try this when i get a day. Because when switching themes, all my custom widgets get wacky and out of place. I did this last week and took me a whole day to “almost” get everything as it was.

As long as it is tracking sales for now…

For the coupons, as i was saying, this is the one and only reason i bought the plugin… When will it be working? Do you have a patch maybe?

    Good day to you!

    Hi Dominic,

The coupons work for most scenarios, it’s only in a few unique cases that there are issues. We’ll have it sorted in v1.1.0 to be released very soon.

    Cheers

    Hello,

What coupon features aren’t working? At the moment the only issue we have is when commission is set to 100% then payments go funky. Which I’m working on bug fixing today.

    cheers,

    Jamie.

If customer uses coupon (mine is 20% off) i do not want to be taking the hit. Im promoting these products via my newsletter. and as i can see right now, im still taking the hit even after activating PRO.

    If product is 20$.

Remove the 20% of the coupon leaves us 16$.

    Commissions are set to 50%.

i should be giving back 8$ bu system says i owe 10$.

    This is the problem.

    Thank you

Ok, this software is not useful for me if this feature cannot work for me. What is the procedure to get a refund?

    Hello,

Coupons need to be set at a per product rate, you cannot use a cart discount due to the commission system calculations being all on the product level.

If you want to provide 20% at checkout then make sure your coupon is at the product rate and not the cart rate.

    cheers,

    Jamie.

    Hi Riche,

I think I know what the issue is, I’ll have a fix for you shortly. At the moment our new commission system the coupons are checked when they are owned by the vendors, not the store admins. I’ll make it so if the store admin owns the coupon then the discount is applied to every product.

    cheers,

    Jamie.
