    Hi,

First, Love the plugin, works great, really logical and organised well 😀

The issue 🙁 – I’ve set up multiple people as Authors, (which allows them to post etc), I’ve changed the author role permissions to match vendors so they can post products as well. On the shop page, under the preview of their item, the sold by label, instead of using their name or any other possible setting, it shows as “XaraMarketplace” (my site name, or maybe the admin username). Do you know how I can get author accounts to show the correct sold by label, also clicking on their names leads to mysite.co.uk/designer/theirname , this shows all items sold by all authors (possibly the same cause?).

    Thanks,
    Ben

    Hi,

I think i’ve found a solution. I originally searched your other threads and didn’t find anything to help, but looked again today and found someone who had similar problem and is using a multiple role plugin. It allows me to assign both Vendor and Author to one person. Quick test and it appears to be working fine!

I’ll update this if I come across any other problems,

    Thanks 🙂

Cool- hope that does work out for you.
If you have trouble, what you’ll have to do is likely write your own functions for the sold by for the author role, or add to the current vendor sold by functions to make the same information appear for an author role as well.
Hopefully the plugin will work as you hope, though. 😉
