    Hi WC Vendors team,

I’m new here. I just activated my WC Vendors Pro yesterday and it’s wonderful. Yaaay!

I’ll go straight to the point: How do I disable the Affiliate/External product type in the frontend Pro Dashboard for vendors, so that only the site administrator can publish such posts?

I stumbled on this article when I looked for a solution earlier. I got how one can activate/deactivate the options there, but unfortunately, there is no additional setup information for newbies such as myself.

What I can’t figure out is where to find this code (assuming it’s in the plugin folder) OR where to upload the text file, if I need to create one for the purpose of copying said code. More precisely:

    • First option: Should I create a text file and copy the code from the article there? If so, how do I name it and where to upload it, if this matters at all?
    • Second option: If the code snipped mentioned in the article already exists in the plugin folder, where can I find it?

    Thanks!

    Hi Stefan!

Simply copy and paste that code into your themes functions.php file. That’s it! 🙂 Any time you see a snippet like that, look at the bottom of it, if it says the filename is functions.php it always goes in your themes functions.php file

    Cheers

    Ben
