    We’d like to give our vendors the option of using Shippo to complement the WC Vendors Pro shipping module (and we’re as excited as everyone else here that you’ll be bringing in more features in v 1.4).

    To give our vendors this option, we need for them to be able to import all the data fields seen in the screenshot – whereas at present they can only import a few basic details into CSV files.

    How could we go about this?

    Thanks.

    docs.wcvendors.com and type in CSV in the search. Look for the filters!

    Thanks Ben. These documents are really detailed and I’m sure are useful for those who understand them, but for the uninitiated such as myself – I have no idea what to do with them.
    Would you be able to advise me on the next step: do I need to somehow add the corresponding filters to the data points that I need in my CSV files into functions.php or a specific php file (the docs make mention of wcvendors-pro/public/class-wcvendors-pro-order-controller.php)?
    Cheers.

    @BEN, Are you able to provide more detail on what to do with these filters?
    Thanks.

    @ben:

    Before I hit submit, I followed every one of your guidelines. I searched the forums, and while I found similar questions I could not find an answer to this one. I visited the KnowledgeBase, which I’d read inside out before, and while it’s a great resource it does not answer this question. I did more research: I found that the relevant files are class-wcvendors-pro-export-helper.php and class-wcvendors-pro-order-controller.php. I also read somewhere on your forum that these are core files that can’t be amended.

    After all this, we’re still a two-person team that has a combined total of zero development experience, and while it’s up to us to do the grunt work and figure these things out, occasionally we need to ask stupid questions like: what do these filters mean and what do we do with them? I’m not asking for you to do customization work for us. I’m just asking you to pay me the respect of responding to the perfectly reasonable question I posted here six days ago.

    All I want is a general idea of what to do with these filters. And if it’s not much more trouble than that, to provide an example of how to add a custom column to the CSV files and I’ll try to figure out the rest from there. I’m always happy to learn.

    Waiting to hear from you.
