    Hello everyone,

I think WC Vendors is great. I have a main online shop and im employing some sales person to sell my products face to face. I would like to use the shop as the platform to make the sales and would be great if each of the sales person could have their own “sub-shop”, but when I create a new vendor user, its shop is empty. Is it possible to inherit the products from the main shop when a new one is created?

    Thanks!

Each product can be assigned to one vendor. So, this is feasible, but only if each product is only assigned to one vendor.
You could take your products that you (admin) had listed in your main shop, and edit the product– there is a drop-down box that will allow you to assign the product to a vendor.

    Thank you Anna

So if one product can be sold by several vendors, the product should be cloned each time and then assigned to a single vendor right?

Exactly- yes. At this time we do not support one product being sold by more than one vendor- and do not currently have plans to include that in the future. so, to have an identical product sold by more than one vendor, you would need to duplicate/clone the listing, and then assign it to the new vendor.
