    Hello,

I apologize if this was already posted somewhere else but I didn’t see it if it was. I am creating a marketplace for musicians to sell music downloads. I am using WC Vendors Pro and another plugin called Music Player for Woocommerce. First let me say I absolutely love your plugin! It is just what I need! However, I have one issue right now. When creating a new product, Music Player for Woocommerce adds options to the add product screen in the back end of wordpress such as; “include music player”, “player layout”, “merge in grouped products”, “preload”, “play all”, “player controls”, and “display player title”. Obviously, once the “include music player” option is selected the file is displayed in the product page as a music player and customers are able to listen to the song before they purchase it. Right now, there are no options for this when editing a product from the frontend of WC Vendors Pro. So, I have a few of questions. 1.) is there any way to integrate the two plugins?, 2.) Is there another music player plugin that you could suggest that already works with WC Vendors Pro, or 3.) Is there a way to just add basic functionality where the vendor can upload a sample song and have it displayed in an html audio tag/player on the product page? I really need this functionality. Thank you in advance for any help or advice.

    Hello Keith,

1.) is there any way to integrate the two plugins?

Absolutely- I am very confident that these two plugins *can* be integrated. What I am not sure of, however, is how much work and how complicated it will be to integrate these.
I’m not sure how familiar with php coding you are– we do have a few examples of how fields from another plugin could be added to our front end forms. This here shows how a user added fields from the “Gift Wrap” plugin to our front end forms in Pro: https://www.wcvendors.com/kb/integration-woocommerce-product-gift-wrap/
In addition, if you take a look at our free Simple Auctions Integration plugin, you can get an idea of what was done to add the fields for that plugin- as well as a new product type (auctions) to our front-end forms.

You’d need to find the id and post_meta for the fields you need to add to the front end forms in WC Vendors Pro.
Since most of the fields you mentioned above seem to deal directly with the product rather than the author(vendor), I think that it will be quite feasible to integrate these plugins- you just need those fields in the front end forms.

2.) Is there another music player plugin that you could suggest that already works with WC Vendors Pro

We do not have integration with a music player plugin yet, no.

3.) Is there a way to just add basic functionality where the vendor can upload a sample song and have it displayed in an html audio tag/player on the product page?

I do believe that can be worked into our front-end forms, yes. I am not exactly how, aside from what I have shared above– but if you were to bring this to a developer for custom coding, I believe this could be done, yes. We usually recommend https://codeable.io for developers who work with WooCommerce and WC Vendors, if you need to hire someone to help with this integration.
