If I don’t want the customer to go out of my site to pay (eg basic PayPal) are these the only two options which also enable instant payment to vendors? (albeit with Stripe holding payment for 7 days in UK)

    1. WCV Stripe Plugin = $49 single fee

    2. PayPal Website Payments Pro = £20 per month

1.) Correct! Stripe will be perfect. You will need a SSL certificate for your /checkout/ page to work of course.

2.) That wont work for paying your vendors, it’s not coded to work with WC Vendors. It won’t detect your vendors PayPal email, it won’t pay them, and it wont set commissions right. Plus, damn, that’s expensive. 🙂

Thanks Ben for the quick clarification and on a weekend too.

The £20/month cost is painful but I might have considered it as it would give vendors instant payment and without the need to setup and link a Stripe account.

Anyway – I have SSL installed as it is so I think Stripe will be the way forward.

    Thanks again for your help.
