    (reposted from another thread)

    Hi Anna,

Thank you so much for that feedback! I ended up going with the Kleo theme, which was about $20 cheaper than the Shopkeeper theme and looks amazing. I am now having a layout issue with the WC Pro Vendor Application and Dashboard pages. I searched the forums here to locate something similar but could not find anything; I could open a new thread about it (since this issue is now with Kleo and not Shopkeeper) if you prefer.

The issue is that the header is being moved to the bottom of the page, and the page contents are being repeated. I believe I’ve ruled out any conflicting plugins because I deactivated everything except WooCommerce, WC Vendors, and WC Vendors Pro but the issue was still there. I’ve included screen caps of this. I’ll reply with my WooCommerce status report in a private comment after this one.

    Thanks!

    Thanks, @CockyClub
I am installing KLEO on a dev site and I will see what can be done to get those pages showing in a better format.

Well, I can definitely narrow this down to the very latest Kleo update- which was only a few days ago.
Everything looks fine on version 4.1.4
This issue occurs, however, with version 4.1.5

Look slike they did make some changes, according to the changelog. I’ll see if I can get some info form them so we can fix these pages.

    Hi Anna,

    Yeah I was on 4.1.5

They just did an update this morning to 4.1.6, however, the issue is still there. I attempted to copy over the templates as you suggested, but unless I did it incorrectly (which is highly possible, haha) it didn’t change anything.

I really appreciate your help on this and I hope we can get it resolved soon with the Kleo team.

I’ve opened a support ticket with KLEO to try and find out what was changed in the page layouts between versions 4.1.4 and 4.1.5,
Hopefully they can point us in a direction that will allow us to get the dashboard pages working properly. If they can just give me some info I can see if I can exclude the dashboard pages form having this new styling/javascript whatever they did between those two versions.

    Hi Anna,

Just checking in to see if you have heard anything back from the Kleo team on this issue?

    Thanks!

They probably overwrote how anchor html works. That’s what Divi did. It’ll throw javascript errors when going to #links on a form.

REMEMBER — ANCHOR LINKS are standard HTML. Them disabling it, is breaking HTML. Why would a theme author do this? They never (ever) should. If this is the issue, which it probably is, only they can fix their javascript. If they provide a workaround, rather than a fix (which would be lame of them) do post it here in case others are having the same issue with Kleo.

    Hi Ben,

Thank you for your response. Kleo will be the second premium theme I have purchased trying to make this plugin work…I’m starting to lose confidence to be honest. I started with Shopkeeper, which I was lucky enough to get a refund on the purchase price after learning that their theme blocks the ability for the WC Vendor Pro plugin to perform hooks (or something like that; I’m not a web designer so I’m really not sure what I’m talking about here. All I know is it didn’t work).

After getting my refund for Shopkeeper, Anna suggested a few different themes that were known to be compatible with this plugin, and Kleo was one of them. Kleo looks amazing and wasn’t too expensive, so that’s the one I went with. Only to learn that it, too, is not compatible with WC Vendors as of their last update.

I totally understand when you guys state “it’s an issue with the theme, not us,” but I’ve spent over $300 trying to make all this work and it’s been almost 2 months. I hope you can understand my frustration.

I’m hoping Anna can get a solution out of Kleo, as she has stated she used to use the theme in the past and is very familiar with them (which was another reason I went with Kleo). I’m REALLY not looking forward to buying a third theme in an attempt to make this plugin work correctly.

    Thanks.

I did recommend KLEO, as I used it for my marketplace and had no issues with it at all until the update they did on 10/11
I have asked for support- asked what was changed so we could get the dashboard pages working correctly.
Please contact them also and bring this to their attention. I do hope we can get some answers: http://seventhqueen.com/support/kleo

    Hi Anna,

I appreciate your recommendation of Kleo, because despite this particular issue it’s a truly beautiful theme packed with tons of features and one I never knew about.

I just submitted my own support ticket with them: http://seventhqueen.com/support/forums/topic/wc-vendors-pro-compatiblity-issues

Thank you (and Ben) for such fast and helpful support. I’ll be sure to add their response to this thread for future Kleo users.

If you wish- you can post your email address in a private reply; I have a zip of KLEO v 4.1.4 that I can send to you if you wish to work with KLEO for your site while we wait for a reply from their support.
The only issue I see on the dashboard with this version is the pagination on the Products tab when you have a lot of products. This can be fixed, though.

This all does still depend on them letting us know what changed in versions 4.1.5 though, so you can safely update your theme in the future (even if it means using a work-around that you have to implement with each update, if that’s what they provide).

    Hi Anna,

Thank you! My direct email is [email protected] If you could send that over that would be awesome. Also, Could you explain how to apply that version? Like, do I just upload the zip file into themes as though I were adding a new theme (wouldn’t that throw an error since there’s already a Kleo directory?). I’m using the child theme, so any direction on how to actually upload and apply the older version would be a big help.

    Thanks again!

Since this is such a large file, Gmail made me send the zip as a Google Drive link. Let me know if this causes you any trouble and we can see if it can be sent to you in a different fashion.
FIRST: You may wish to copy your child theme code into a notepad file and save it to your computer, just in case something goes wrong. That way you still have the code you have put into your child theme. Just open notepad (or whatever the MAC has if you are using a MAC) and copy/paste your child theme functions.php and then also your style.css. It is good to do this once in a while anyway 😉

    1. Download the KLEO zip from the email to your computer and then extract files, just as you would if you downloaded it from themeforest.
    2. GO to your wp admin > Appearance and change to a different theme from KLEO- like storefront or one of the free wp themes.
    3. Click on the parent KLEO theme and Delete the KLEO parent theme. After doing that, you may get a warning that the child theme is not supported and it’ll ask you if you want to delete it. Do Not delete it. Leave it as is.
    4. Then click the ADD NEW button at the top of the page, Upload Theme button next, then upload the KLEO 4.1.4 zip (themeforest-blah-blah-blah-kleo-theme > main files > wordpress > KLEO) parent theme to your wp.
    5. Re-Activate your Kleo Child Theme.

    Hi all,

So the Kleo team responded to my support ticket today and it appears that their most recent update to 4.1.6.2 has resolved the layout issues for us.

Thank you Anna and Ben for your help with this as well.

    Full steam ahead 🙂

    Hi Anna,

Everything seems to be working perfectly fine so far. I don’t have any complaints at all. The theme is beautiful, WC Vendors Pro is functioning correctly, and I’m just hoping the next update doesn’t crash anything, haha.

    Thanks!
