    Hi,
Once a vendor clicks on ‘Mark Shipped’ for a new order in the Vendor Dashboard, is it supposed to change status or something? Only I’ve clicked on it and it remains saying ‘Mark Shipped’…enabling me to potentially click again and again and again…
    Thanks!

The “Mark Shipped” button sends the purchaser an email to tell them that their purchase has been marked as shipped by the vendor. It does not change the order status of products, only gateways and admins change order statuses of products.

Hi – ah, ok. But then how does the Shop Manager know the order has gone out?
And when the shop manager does change the order to complete, will another email issue to the buyer?
    Thanks,

    Hello,

In the order screen there is a list of vendors for the order and they have a tick or cross next to them to show that they have marked as shipped.

In the orders table screen if you hover over the truck icon it will tell you who has shipped also.

    cheers,

    Jamie.

    Hi Jamie,
Ah yes – I see that – a little truck icon. Nice.
So when the entire is order is shipped, as Shop Mngr, I can mark the order as ‘complete’? What happens then regarding automatic emails etc, please?

    Hello,

Yes you can then mark the entire order as shipped. This will fire off the usual woocommerce emails.

    cheers,

    Jamie.

    Hello,

You may have found a bug! This is possible and I’ll have @ben confirm this. If it is indeed a bug I’ll get it fixed in a jiffy! I’m busy working on Pro so I cannot look into this at this time. Apologies for the delay on confirmation. Ben will be online in 7 hours or so.

    Thanks for your patience.

    cheers,

    Jamie.

I think I know the problem. When you login as a vendor, you go to /my-account/ — You still need to go to the Vendor Dashboard to see your sales reports and stuff.

    yourdomain.com/vendor_dashboard/

    Try that out!

If you want to automatically redirect Vendors to this page when they login to your website, add this code to your themes functions.php file.

    Hi CyberSnapy,

We’ve confirmed your issue as a bug and created a GitHub Bug Report for it. You can view it here: https://github.com/wcvendors/wcvendors/issues/209

It’ll be fixed up as soon as we can, and will be part of 1.7.10 (if that’s the version # Jamie tags it as, but in English, it’ll be the next WC Vendors Update. 🙂

    Cheers

    Ben

    Hi Ben,

i just hit the same wall.

I updated V 1.8 but the “Mark shipped” problem still exists. I am looking forward your solution, since it is indeed confusing to the vendor.

    Cheers,

    jp

We asked for feedback on how to replicate this problem, and nobody provided any. If you can provide detailed instructions on how to create the bug, and how to confirm it, we’ll do our best to get it fixed very quickly.

    Hi Ben,

Here is the weird thing. I tested on two environments.

Enviroment one: WC, WCV, with and without Qtranslate, Woos Storefront Theme:
In the vendor dashboard, once you click: Mark shipped it turns to Marked shipped (free translated from German Interface), but I cannot unmark it (maybe that is intended).

Environment two (the problem child): WC, WCV, Qtranslate and Automatics _underscore theme (Woo enabled)
In the vendor dashboard, once you click: Mark shipped it stays Mark shipped (only the top notification gets shown), but I can unmark it* again (with a second click).

*as seen in the vendor backend

I hope that helps, to follow up on this bug.

If you have further requirements please let me know.

    Cheers, jp

Apologies for not replying to this thread sooner – been absolutely snowed and working on another project since I posted this originally.

Anyway – the bug described above by Jan-Philipp in the Nov 7th post above is precisely what I’m seeing, so if you can reproduce it, then that’s what I see too.

In other words – emails sends out, but link does not change.

    Hi,
I’m wondering if this issue has been solved yet?
Using version 1.8.8 and still getting this problem.
If you require access to my test website to see what’s going on, I could probably give you administrator access to the wp-admin of http://www.delhimaker.space

There’s no problems with Mark Shipped, it works exactly as intended. Open an order in wp-admin, you’ll see the vendors on the top with an X next to it. The X means vendor has not shipped. Vendor marks shipped, and the X changes into a checkbox. That’s all the button does, nothing more, nothing less.

When a vendor clicks on the ‘Mark Shipped’ in their seller_dashboard, it turns to ‘shipped’, but the status doesn’t get updated, and on refreshing the page, it still shows up as ‘Mark Shipped’ (as shown in the image attached). On the other hand, when the seller sets it to ‘Mark shipped’ on their admin panel by going into ‘Orders’ on wp-admin it changes the status permanently and then the checkbox shows up in the Admin’s panel as you mentioned.
What could be the reason here that doing the same thing on seller_dashboard isn’t having the proper effect?
