NOTICE: We've Moved to a Ticket System for Support

    Hi I’ve already saw the forum and posted but since it was an old one maybe its not seen that much.

    I’m using the wc vendors free and im having a problem with the mark as shipped. When the vendor marks as shipped, the mail is sent and the button changes to shipped. But, on safari browser if the vendor refreshes the page the button changes again to mark as shipped. And on other browser like chrome, explorer or firefox when you marked as shipped and the button changes to shipped, but if you go to the main page and to the vendor dashboard again the buttons changes to mark as shipped again.
    Is there any reason on my configuration or something that causes this? Any help is welcomed

    Hi Iam having the same issue. Is there any way tto solve this? Or is it some problem with how I configurated the account?

    Hello,
    I tested this on FireFox and Chrome and did NOT experience this issue with a page refresh nor by exiting the dashboard and returning. I also logged out, cleared cache, logged in again and the shipped was still there– mark shipped did not return..
    I will need to find a safari or have one of my team test on Safari to see what they experience with that browser. I have a PC 😉

    Anna, thank you for your answer. Im still having the same issues and I was wondering if you could test on our page (www.almorzapp.com). Ive made an user for you to test it. The user is a vendor, the username is “wc vendors” and pass “wcvendors”. The vendor dashboard is on the top right side under “escritorio vendedor”. Ive made some purchases for you to try if the issue happens to you also.

    How odd- I do see it happening form time to time. Not every time- just some of the time if I refresh the page.
    If I completely leave the page, then return, it does not happen any more.

    I’ll see what can be done about this- though I think it will be infrequent that it causes any issues for your vendors — it is, indeed, saving the marked shipped… it just does not always show when the page is refreshed immediately after marking it shipped.

    Anna, Thank you for the answer. Yes, is very odd. I don’t know if is the combination of plugins or something of the configuration. It indeed saves the marked shipped and it sends the corresponding emails to the costumers, but we wanted to have the shipped so the stores could have some accounting on what they have already finished.

    I have some other question on other subjects. Do you want me to do a new post or ask here?

    In my testing- once you left the page and returned, there were no more instances of the “disappearing” marked shipped. It stayed. It seems to only happen on the refresh– so it should not affect your vendor’s accounting . Let me know if this turns out to not be the case on your site.

    Anna, looking at the url when I refresh the page it seems like when you refresh it the command sends the same order to the dashboard so it returns to mark as shipped. And if you refresh again it appears as shipped. Its like it each time you press refresh it sends the command.

    Other questions I had where if is there any way to make the notes on the orders appear somewhere in the dashboard so the vendors can see if there is any specific request from the clients. I saw in previous thread they asked something like this but maybe there was some update on that. Because Im working with restaurants and it force the vendors to open the emails to se if there is any note on the order so they have to make two steps to start preparing it. I know that in the thread it said that it was because you can order in more than one store and the notes would appear to everyone, but in this case its preferred to be able to see the notes. Is there any way I can add this to the vendor dashboard so they can see it with the orders?

    Another question is if there is any way to have an option in the configuration so that the vendors can have like a step where they can say that the order is ready and when its taken away they can mark as shipped.

    And last if there is any way that the method of payment to the vendors (which is PayPal) can be changed or adapted to MercadoPago, I saw that there was a request some time ago but wanted to know if there was any intention to adapt it. And if not if there is some manual to make the adaptation, so if Im able to do it myself. Because MercadoPago has the developers documentation so anybody can adapt the method of payment to their own commerce.

    I know most of the questions where asked but maybe it was some update on the subject and I the questions are more of the kind if there is some easy way to do those thing and not a request because I know you have lots of work to do.

    @Anna Hi Anna 🙂 Were you ever able to find out what’s happening here? My vendors are having this same problem. It’s happening with the Send Tracking Number, too. Customers are getting both emails but it’s not staying as “shipped’ on the dashboard.

    Here’s what I’m seeing on my site:

    When the vendor clicks on the Shipped button it takes him to this page:

    Mark Shipped button

    Note the url on that page

    To me, that looks like the email template that goes to the customer ???

    But when the vendor goes back to to the Orders page it still shows Not Shipped. I’ve tried refreshing, and leaving the page, but it stays on Not shipped.

    Deleted all unnecessary plug-ins and that didn’t help.

    The customer does NOT receive a Your Order Has Shipped email. BUT..

    If the vendor adds a customer NOTE to the order, the customer does receive the NOTE email.

    THEN, if the vendor marks the order shipped, the customer receives another copy of the NOTE email.

    Results

    When the vendor adds a tracking number he’s sent to this same page, pictured above, but the link is http://thcmmarketplace.com/dashboard/order/ Then he has to click to go back to his dashboard.

    The customer does receive the email with the tracking number and the tracking number does show up on Admin page for that order.

    The only thing I’ve changed on the site recently is the addition of Jetpack on 4/3 and that’s when the first vendor contacted me to let me know they couldn’t use the mark shipped button, so I’m thinking Jetpack is the problem. But I disabled it and that didn’t help.

    At that same time I also deactivated a lot of the Buddypress features because the vendors don’t want customers to be able to contact them directly. But that wouldn’t have any affect on WCV emails, would it???

    Hello,
    This may be due to the fact that for WC Vendors free version 1.9.9 we did update the template for notify-shipped email.
    These templates were updated:
    Templates Updated:
    templates/emails/vendor-new-order.php
    templates/emails/notify-vendor-shipped.php
    templates/order/orders.php

    So, if you or your theme modified these templates, this may be the source of the issue.

    Thanks, Anna. I’m using OneSocial. I know I haven’t modified any templates. Do you know if they did? And if so, what do I do to fix this? Should I contact BB?
