NOTICE: We've Moved to a Ticket System for Support

    Hello,

    If a vendor marks an order as shipped this doesn’t change order status in the back-end.
    This is not a huge problem, but how can I check the orders on their status as admin?

    And ofcourse if there is a way to make this work in the back-end I’ll like to hear it.

    There’s no real “status” to change on the back-end. It changes on the vendor dashboard, so vendors know what has shipped and what has not. It doesnt change the orders status from processing to completed or anything like that, as if it did, it would certainly screw up orders if there are more than one vendors product in an order. 😉

    One thing that might be neat, is adding an Order Note saying “Product XYZ Marked as shipped by Nancy’s Shop”, and that’s something I could easily implement if you think it might help

    So how will I check each vendor’s order status?

    No need for a notifcation just an overview is enough.

    We’ll add this into the order notes for the order. I think that will be the best way. So where you see all the notes, we’ll have:

    “Vendor Name has marked their portion of this order as Shipped” as a note, and that note will have the date/time on it as well. So when you edit an order, you’ll see an update for each vendor.

    Remember, there’s also the Notify Shipped email, that does send out if enabled to the buyer when the vendor clicks the Mark Shipped button. We’ll just add the note to the order page in addition that way there’s more of a record that it actually happened and when.

    I’m quite confused right now.

    Where would I see this note? And also I know that there is an email for the buyer but I just want a table, an overview of all orders with just the status that is it.

    The order notes are on the right side of the edit order page in wp-admin > WooCommerce > Orders > ######. You can add private or customer notes there, payment gateways add approval numbers there, status chages, etc., and that’s where we’ll put the Mark Shipped update.

    Once your plugin updater in WordPress shows you that a new version of WC Vendors is out, update it! And then you’ll see the changes outlined here.

    Hello,

    Also to note, that if a vendor marks something as shipped there are 2 areas this is displayed in the admin.

    Under actions in the order list table. If you hover over that it shows a list of vendors and a tick or cross if they have marked as shipped.

    If you then view the order you will also see Vendors Shipped under the shipping details that lists which vendors have shipped and which haven’t.

    @twitch you can update now if you like by applying the change manually. It’s adding 3 lines of code.

    Orr view the entire file and replace it with that file, and you’ll be updated with the latest part of this code. That would be here:

    wp-admin > WooCommerce > WC Vendors > General > UNCHECK Enable vendor shop headers

    Did that fix it? If yes, good! If no, it’s your theme issue and I have no idea. 🙂

    Is it possible that it is checked whether all vendors from an order have marked their products as “shipped” and If so,
    the order status is automatically set to “closed” ?

    Because at the account page from a user (buyer) the status actually will stay on “Processing”.

    Hello Anna,

    When i click on Mark as shipped than i got this screen and my vendor didn’t get email notification for mark as shipped event.
